Editorial Review for Century Complex – by JT Long
The Scene
At more than 20 years old, the domed theaters are among the oldest in Sacramento--they were the only place in town to see the original "Star Wars" when it opened. And they've plunged into modern times with digital sound and stadium seating. Because of the sloped floor, no hair is too high to see over and soda cans roll down to the front. If you arrive early to ensure good seats, but the kids get fidgety, send them to the fully stocked arcade while you settle in with an espresso and a muffin.
The Cinema
Since there are 14 screens, there's bound to be one movie your whole entourage can agree on. This is the place to see all the other box-office hits straight from Hollywood. Go to the first or last showing to avoid the crowds.
