Rude waitresses and crappy food!! Never coming again!!!. Just visited Wasabi and was disappointed yet again after vowing not to go there again before. In the past I wasn't pleased with their service which is why I quit going to this place once already. However, the food WAS good, and its close by so we went back. This time, bot the food and service was bad!!! Constant rudeness of the waitresses combined with BAD Sam's Roll made this and unpleasant experience. At the end of our dinner, they usually give you coffee candies or cookies which my wife really likes. After seeing the waitress giving these to other customers, we asked to have some too, to which the waitress replied "we running out"! Absolutely horrible service!

Love that sushi!. They have a lot of good sushi here! I like the special plates like pepper-fin. Sometimes there's a wait for the sushi bar because it gets busy, but it's worth the wait. We usually have fun with the other customers sitting around the sushi bar. Nice crowd.

Great food!. I first went to this restaurant with some friends, skeptical because I loved Makuni's. But I was very impressed with the food, they had great flavor and proportions! Although they are also a sports bar it wasn't too loud, and service was timely. Great food, great restaurant!

Avoid when possible. I came here with my family and I will say this: "I will never go back ever again!"

First, we stood in line for over 20 minutes after they said it would be only about 10.

Second, when our turn came, they let other people sit first even though they arrived after us.

Third, once I complaint about these two things, they put two tables together and sat two families on top of each other. There was no room left in between our family and the other one.

This was the second and LAST TIME we'll ever eat at this restaurant! There was a guy at the bar who seemed to be the owner (or the person in charge) and he was loud and annoying. He sat with some customers and totally disregarded the uncomfortable situation we were having.

Recap: Service was absolutely bad, floors and tables were dirty. It just made us sick to our stomack!

We left this place in a flash and ended up going to another Japanese Restaurant not too far away from this one. I higly reccomend TAKAS sushi. It is located at 11773 Fair Oaks Boulevard in Fair Oaks, ( in the Almond Orchard area strip mall )

Taka's service was awesome; the food very fresh and the ambience very elegant and super clean! As soon as you walk in you are greeted in a respectfully and friendly way. No comparison!

Terrible Customer Service. This place has the worst customer service of any restaurant I've ever been to. This is not a family restaurant, as they do not accomodate children and don't have a kids menu. They wouldn't do any kind of substitutions. When the order came out wrong, they insisted that it wasn't their fault, and charged us to redo as we had originally specified. I will never go back there.

The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. The portions were pretty skimpy too. I've been to much better Sushi places.

YES its BETTER than Mikuni. Once I tried it I couldnt stop going there. Great selection of sushi (also other food), reasonable prices. Most of the time I was just ordering sushi by phone and then picked it up, cuz I dont really like their interior, it looks too cheap. One time I decided to try Mikuni, since I've heard alot of good compliments about it... And guess what, I was very disapointed with their sushi/price, but their interior is better though. Anyways, if you are a sushi lover then Wasabi is your place.

I Love Wasabi!. Wasabi has some of the best sushi in the area, and is by far the best value. I have been a customer since this place first opened, and even though I no longer live in the area, whenever I visit I have to stop here to get my fix. The portions are huge (one roll here is like 2 rolls at anyplace else), the fish is very fresh and the menu is very creative--I have been coming here for years and I still try something new all the time. I am always adventurous because I have never had a bad meal here, always excellent. Atmosphere is very chill and informal--sports-bar type feel, but also great for families. Service could sometimes be better, but is generally good, and the food is always prepared quickly--never more than a 10-15 minute wait.

Best Sushi in town, hands down!. Wasabi is by far the best sushi in town. On top of that it is also the most reasonable price too. We have been regular customer for over three years now and go at least once a week. The staff is great at catering to our young son(not always easy to eat out with a two year old) and he loves eating there just as much as us. This place is a must try for any sushi fan!

Wasabi in the House!!!. I've been to sushi restaurants all over town and Wasabi is by far the best for many reasons. Great aptmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. The fish is so fresh and good, it's like butta. You get much more for your money than other places...(Mikuni), the slices of fish in every dish are BIG. I've been eating at Wasabi for years and am always looking forward to my next visit. Try it, you won't be dissapointed!!!!!!!!!

Incredible. My first encounter here was my first trial of sushi. After a few visits, this restaurant became my favorite spot because of its incredible food, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere. It's a great place to try, and it has the best sushi I've ever had. In fact, I signed up for this site just to review this place--it's that good.
