Mexico 70 Rocks!. This place is awesome! The service alone is enough to make you want to keep coming back again and again. My roomates and I go there at least once a month, and we are always greeted warmly by the staff. The nachos are soooo good! Try the wine margaritas, too...yum! Looks a little shabby on the outside, but a really fun place that is definitely a favorite!!!
very good overall. very good food. waiters are prompt, very courteous. price is very reasonable.
Tequila is taboo, but beer is abundant at this bordering-on-boring Mexican eatery..
The Scene
This place has the ambiance of a 24-hour coffee shop: TV set on the wall, red vinyl booths and guys in white aprons on the kitchen line. It's the kind of place where kids can run amok without causing too much damage.
The Food
The menu is pretty lengthy, although nachos, guacamole and cheese quesadillas constitute the entire appetizer menu. From there, choose from a selection of salads, traditional combos served with rice and refried beans, seafood and "specialties" such as huevos rancheros, steak ranchero and fajitas.
What to Order
The carne asado is flavorful, and can be the stuffing for your burrito, taco or enchilada.
What to Skip
The beans and rice are beyond bland; opt for a few a la carte items instead.
The Best.... Mexico 70 is the best. My co-workers and I have gone 3 times in the last 2 weeks and have not been disapointed. The service is great, the servers are polite young men that enjoy what they are doing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
