Editorial Review for P.F. Chang's China Bistro – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.

Food is obviously the star of the show- Just ask for Chef Mike to personally cook your food! Not to mention the COOLEST bar in town, the circular bar almost feels like your are in a cave like setting with the beautiful rock walls that surround you. The bartenders are SO friendly and you feel like you have known them forever (not to mention great looking!) The servers in the dining room treat you the same way- if feels like you have known them for years! The environment is beautiful and so much to look at with life like statues of warriors. But I can't get over how cool the staff is. Where do you find all of those good looking people with such great personalities? From the minutes you walk in to the time you leave- it feels like you are part of a family!!!!
Pros: great for meeting people and entertaining family and friends
Cons: parking can be tough but worth it

We have been to P.F's in Roseville twice, and both times were just wonderful! The chicken salad with peanuts is fab, as was the Mongolian beef. I personally did not care for the Singapore Sidewalk noodles (they should stick to Chinese, it's what they do best!), but everything else was to die for. My fiancee had a wonderful glass of Australian white wine. We cooled our palates with a very good dessert of fried banana fritters, coconut icemilk ,caramel sauce, dotted with fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Personally, I just love their iced tea and drink at least four glasses everytime I visit.....it's China Mist Passionfruit tes, but it has a lovely hint of blackberries.........very refreshing on a hot summer day! P.F.'s does take reservations and I would reccomend doing so, especially on a weekend night! They are very busy, but the service is excellent (they never let my glass of tea stay empty!). The first time we visited, it was during lunch hour and it was not even close to crowded. Ambience is lovely, just dimly lit enough to make one feel cool. Restrooms are clean. Highly recommmended!!!
Pros: Food, Anbience, Wines
Cons: None
