The Scene

Not only are canine guests welcome, the property has its own dog beach and a fenced-in acre for playing fetch. As for the attractions that lure human guests, the property is a playground of log swings and picnic tables. An enclosed hot tub looks into the pine forest.

Each of the property's one- and two-bedroom cabins reflects a vintage theme, from the Gold Rush to Native American history. Representative memorabilia hangs from pine-paneled walls, and pine encases the ceilings, too.
