Yummy. So, I almost hate to write this review because I'm a local who doesn't want to tell the world about my favorite place; but Katrina deserves to hear my appreciation. It seems that Katrina's is the best place for breakfast in the WEST. I grew up eating her food, then moved to Portland, and moved back. As many of you know, Portland is riddled with excellent restaurants (that's what happen when it rain all the time...people go out to eat) and nothing compared to Katrina's lemon yougurt pancakes with fresh berries, or her avocado delight, or her biscuits and gravy, or, or, or the list goes on. My husband and I love trying new places and always come back to Katrina's for a great breakfast or lunch. Katrina's was recently reviewed in the Sacramento Magazine and you should believe every word that was written. Katrina, if you are reading this; thank you for giving Auburn culinary clout. We love you!

Best Breakfast Food in Auburn. We love Katrina's........sure wish they'd be open every day (they are closed Monday and Tuesday). They also close promptly at 2pm every other day they're open (it would be nice to have longer hours....)

On their lunch menu, check out the awesome burgers and pastrami sandwich (my daughter could not finish hers....)

BREAKFAST. There are far too few kick-ass breakfast places in the world as far as I am concerned. Buiscits and gravy, potatoes, omelettes and fruit....sandwiches and burgers! Everything is great. So small that you always have to wait and it seems so long before the food comes. Its worth it though.
