Very Unhappy with Reagor Pet Hospital. I had a horrible experience with this facility. I got a new dog (2 to 3 years old). I had her spayed; a week later she had an infection; I made an appointment with a vet; a tech said she was licking (and she wasn't); they said because I only had a “tech” appointment and the doctors were booked solid they couldn't give me any antibiotics; I had to leave; a friend gave me left-over antibiotics from her dog; I sent Reagor an email describing my unhappiness; the surgeon called that evening (12 days after the surgery) “just to see how she was doing” but claimed she had not seen my email. I repeated my story and Reagor prescribed antibiotics "without seeing my dog" and then told me that the chart said a doctor had seen my dog and noted on the chart that "should my dog get worse they would prescribe antibiotics." They have never called to see how she was doing after they precribed antibiotics. The shots, chip and spay cost was over $600.00. I don't know, it seems like someone wrote in the file after the fact. I won’t go back.

very best in animal care and compassion. I called on a tuesday at 8 am and needed my cat to be seen for an ongoing urinary problem that i couldnt get resolved at my current hospital that was too busy to get me in the same day. They asked me to come right down even though they are not an emergency facility and i did and was helped with compassion and care.I will never go elsewhere and im glad in a situation that i was in fell upon caring hands. thank you Reagor pet

what once was is no more.... once upon a time, reagor was the best vet in town. sadly, they've had some changes in staff and vets who do not ensure the same trustworthy and comforting experience. the practice as a whole is not bad. sabrina, one of the techs, is amazing. dr. hart and the new dude doc whose name i cant remember are incredible vets. if you ignore angela, the receptionist that doesn't actually want to work and is real rude if you ask her for anything, and you request to see any vet other than dr. bieseadecki, you can trust that your animal will be well taken care of. if by some horrible fate, you get stuck with bieseadecki, take a sedative because she'll have you in tears otherwise and check your bill real close because she'll charge you for a million things that you didn't authorize and doesn't communicate well with the receptionist that puts together your final bill.

ps: i rate a 4 excluding angela and bieseadecki. with those two in the equation, they'd get a negative 30.

Friendly, convenient pet hospital. I moved to Carmichael after years of living in OC and was looking for a friendly vet to take my active Mini-American Eskimo to for general vaccines and emergency visits. When I was running on the American River Trail a couple of women with equally pamperred pets referred me to Reagor which happened to be between my condo and my running trail.

They are open Saturdays (by appointment), reasonable prices, and the people who work there are friendly.

What I like about them the most is after reviewing my Eskie's medical history they advised me that my previous vet was over-vaccinating her. I have never had a vet be honest about regular treatments like that.

I adopted a kitty a few months ago and just made an appointment for her physical Saturday and will schedule her to be fixed next week.
