The customer service is the WORST I have ever received in my life. They have screwed up my drink twice in the past 2 weeks. First time they fixed it. Second time all I recieved was that this was my mistake & was told "well its yours now" & "thats what you said". I would think that they would know the difference between a hot & cold drink. I spoke to the man in charge of this shop & he told me that "he wasnt there" & he didnt owe me a apoligy. Too bad too sad for the mangement, you have lost hundreds of customers for the attitude that you give at no extra charge.
Cafe in decline. A sad demise to a once lovely cafe ... This cafe continues to decline in service. The nail in the coffin for us as customers came when my husband went in to buy our Ceylon Supreme tea, which we have been buying there for years, and they filled the order with a cheap orange pekoe, and still charged him for the Ceylon ... and labeled the bag Ceylon ...
Boulevard Coffee Roasting Co...Dark Sumatra. I order 10 lbs of there Dark Sumatra every month, and have sent up to Oregon. There isn't enough stars to rate there coffee
Support local business. I have been going to Boulevard since I was a little girl. The coffee is the best around and they always provide service with a smile. They have unique little trinkets and the best little pastries, cookies and cakes. The morning glory bread is a favorite of mine. From the moment you walk in it feels warm and cozy and the smell of thier fresh roasted coffee can not be beat. I prefer a light roast, but they have light, dark and decaf available by the cup all day. Support a local business and stop in and grab one, you will not regret it!
They know their Coffee!!. I frequent Boulevard for fresh roasted beans but, my favorite, Celebes Kalossi, is often sold out but the staff actually knows what to suggest insead. I am always pleasantly suprised with the coffee they pick for me. They roast fresh daily, the atmosphere is very warm, and the staff are all unique and helpful.
Lack of Customer Service, and coffee selection. I go to Boulevard Coffee for all of my whole bean or ground coffee. I was very disappointed when I requested 4 types of coffee beans and they were out. The response I received was "Oh well, I have just been lazy, since I am the one who roasts the beans". Secondly, during the time that I was being waited on a phone call came in and I (the customer) was put "on hold" while the person talked on the phone for 10 min. Needless to say I was very disappointed in this experience.
For the best bold roast coffee anywhere. As a strait-up dark roast coffee aficionado, Boulevard is the best. Bold flavor coffee fans unite! This is a cup of coffee worth driving for! FORGET PEETS and STARBUCKS. Boulevard is simply better and less expensive. The atmosphere is quaint and friendly. None of their employees seem to have the typical barista lip piecings or "screw this job attitudes." They actually treat each other like family. The only downside is they don't open early enough for me (4 am) - Oh well.
best coffee anywhere.
yea unlike anyone else commenting here, i live just about 20 minutes away walking
i go there just about.. every day. its just about the best, freshest coffee anywhere i have been.
and just if anyone didnt know they roast and grow theyre beans. so its like 2 hours fresh. okay maybe not that much...
Yum. I love their espresso. It's strong & tastey. I live in San Francisco, but visit my mother who lives close to the Fair Oaks Blvd cafe. I'm lucky she does, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the chance to taste this wonderful coffee.
I drive miles to have this coffee. I drive past a Peets coffee, Java City, and who knows how many Starbucks to have Boulevard Coffee. The trip to Boulevard always ends with the most freshest and flavorful full bodied tasting coffee I have ever enjoyed.
