What a joke! We have been coming here off and on for the past 10 years. NO MORE. They now refuse to seat you until ALL your party arrives, that is unless you want to order for them right away. The food has been steadily going down hill. I have no complaint with the table service but the management is second rate at best. There are other restaurants in the area that would love to have our business and it's time they get it.

Great old-school coffee shop..
I've been going to the Waffle Barn for years. Love the place. My favorite is the breakfast special - ham, eggs, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy, all for $3.99 (they raised the price from $2.99 recently, but it's still a bargain).
Ignore the negative reviews here. They both come from disgruntled ex-employees, and claim that the restaurant is dirty and has been cited by the health department is a flat-out lie. Health Department inspection reports are available online at foodinspect.saccounty dot net - look for yourself and you'll see there are no problems.

A dirty place to eat. A very dirty place to eat. The food is for people who have hang overs. It's greasy and not cooked very well, so if your hung-over and don't care, well this is the place for you. They have been cited many times by the health departement, you can look up for yourself online to see. The owners are VERY cheap! They treat their empolyees not very nice if they don't like you, and the ones they do like they show special favors to. The ketchup bottles are always dirty and they marry there tabasco sauce...talk about cheap! For a business to buy tabasco by the case, it must cost them .20 cents a bottle but they don't do that, they use old bottles and pour them into new bottles (marrying the two together), they are very cheap.

There are way to many other breakfast places out there; dont settle for waffle barn.
This is the place you want to go if you would like to give your money to a family who doesnt care about anybody except themselves, tries to cheat their employees out of money and refuses to support research for wonderful causes; such as breast cancer.
I have never dealt with such two faced people in all my life.
The food isnt to awful bad yet none of that matters to me when the other aspects are taken into consideration

Waffle Barn. Our family and friends have been going to the waffle Barn on Fair Oaks for several years now and have yet to be disappointed. We enjoy the service as well as the great food. May they live long and prosper!
