I love my Dentist! I have been going to Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics since I was 8 years old. I am 19 now and in college but they still let me come back on my breaks to see my favorite doctor's, hygienist's, assistant's and of course front office girls. They always make me feel so welcome. I don't EVER want to leave!

You guys make her visit so special and enjoyable no matter what, my daughter was all smiles and laughs her entire visit not to often to kids ask when they are going to the dentist but you guys ROCK!

Our family just loves this office! We have 2 daughters who adore Dr. Cindy and can't wait until the next time they get to go to the office and see everyone. Sometimes, they want to go to the office just to say hi.

Trashell was very instrumental with our oldest daughter at her first dental visit. She has a special way of calming even the most scared child. By the end of the visit, our daughter didn't really want to leave. Every visit is like going to visit family or a friend. Not to mention all the hugs and smiles the girls receive. :) :)

From the time you enter the office, the entire staff is so friendly. You walk away from your appointment just smiling.

We would recommend this office to everyone, especially if your child is scared or worried about seeing a Dentist. :)

The staff are wonderful. From the gals at the front desk, to the technicians and the dentists - everyone is professional and child friendly. They modify their language when talking to children and for the parents they take time to explain everything.

Personally, I also like that they use technology to its fullest. They have a mesmerizing and informative web page. Plus it looks like their patient records are all electronic with photos. They have a Facebook page and use email for appointment reminders.

Most importantly, my child loves visiting them and looks forward to her visits.

Great doctors who work with children all the time. Dr. Cindy is the original and is very respected in the community and by her peers. But all the other doctors are very qualified and good too, from Dr. Jeff and Dr. Darcy to Dr. Jenny and Dr. Tommy.

Their staff is well trained to not only work with children, but also very young infants and special needs patients.

They also have an on site Orthodontist, Dr. Lexie, to handle all orthodontic cases thus saving time and another unnecessary trip to a different office.

Lastly the office is very very kid friendly. There is a cool ocean beach theme throughout the office with surfboards, underwater creatures and an aquarium. Not to mention TVs everywhere showing kids movies and a video game area where kids can play games before and or after their visit.

I wish this place had been around when I was a kid! My son (age 11) actually ENJOYS going to the dentist!!!

Weideman Pediatric Dentistry has several different treatment areas catering to different ages/stages and needs, including one room for kids with special needs. They have two areas for xrays, and there are a couple of areas where kids can entertain themselves if they have to wait between procedures. They also offer little extras that help make the visit more comfortable while kids are in the chairs...sunglasses, headphones with music, tv's mounted in the ceiling, and more!

My son has seen several dentists here including Dr. Weideman and all have been kind, caring, engaging, and concerned. They spoke not only to me but also to my son. We always leave with my son happy (even after a cavity being filled!!!!) and the feeling that they really care about my son's needs.

I will be sad when we move next summer...think I can get them to move with us?

Where to start? This place is AMAZING! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Like another reviewer wrote, I wish there were places like this when I was growing up. You can just tell that customer service is #1 for them.

When we first started going here, they offered to give us a tour of their office which is beautiful and clean. The waiting area is inviting for both adults and children alike. They have a play area and flat screen TV playing children movies. There is also a large fish tank. The only downside is that they are so efficient at patient intake you don't get to spend much time in the waiting area. The area where they do cleanings has 6 small benches for the children to lie on. Above the benches are TV screens playing a movie. Another large LCD screen on the wall plays the same movie. While the kids wait to be seen, they can play in a pirate area that has video games or they can play in the toy area. They also have a treasure chest and stickers for the kids after they have completed their appointment. The real bubble walls and ocean artwork on the walls are a nice touch.

Love love love this place! Our daughter has autism and if we didn't have this resource in our area I don't know what we'd do! In the first few years, my husband and I would have to LAY on her to keep her in the chair, surely the bright light and sounds can be a nightmare when you are a child with hyper-sensitive eyes/hearing, but they have a nice quiet room in the back and staff that are trained and accepting. They have Renee who is such a calm and kind hygientist who helped explain every tool, every process and how to maintain the best dental health! Our daughter is 1 years old, has never had a cavity and eagerly attends each and every appointment without restraints, fear or anxiety. I recommend this practice to every family we know in the special needs community and their early id of our son's cross bite helped him tremendously! This office is a local treasure!!
