Don't expect genuine Asian food here.... Fusions is not as inexpensive as the misleading "bistro" would have you believe, with food too mediocre for the price. Don't expect the food here to taste the same as it did on your trip to Asia.

Fusions does have really good drinks, all of which i recommend. For the best Fusions experience, go with a group of six or so good friends, have a few appetizers and drinks and just hang out.

All things delicious from the Pacific Rim are served at this little-known spot in Davis.. The Scene
Lush and tropical. Palms, high ceilings, mustard-colored walls and Asian artifacts accent the dining room, where you'll find Buddha smiling down at you from atop a cabinet or shelf. Spacious enough to hold the ravenous weekend crowds, Fusions won't make you feel cramped.

The Food
Vegetarians will rejoice over the mondo selection of meatless noodle and tofu dishes. But never fear, the menu doesn't leave carnivores out in the cold: Steak, shrimp and chicken complement many a delectable dish.

What to Order
Fusion's sampler platter, which includes highlights from the appetizer menu, like onion bread, spring rolls and satay skewers. Mango glazed chicken with a cinnamon mango glaze, golden raisins, roasted almonds and cardamon was sweet perfection.

What to Skip
The shrimp in the prawn salad was tough--the price paid for overcooking. (08/00)

Hit or Miss. The good news is that their portions are getting larger and their prices are affordable depending on what you order. The bad news is that some of their items are really bad: tofu skewers are dry, boring, and bland, noodles are too garlicky, and their seafood noddle soup is just a few noodles floating in a starchy white thick soup.

Good FOOD!!!. I went to this place with my UC Davis buddies and we loved it!!! It has a very good variety...the price is reasonable and the portions are good...I think it would be a cool place to have a birthday dinner with a few of your friends...
