A must try when you're in Davis. Can't beat the taste of this unique pizza for the price.

College Pizza Joint.
The crowd here is usually college-aged, but you'll find families stopping by for weekend lunch or mid-week dinner. Ordering pizza from Woodstock's and eating it at home with a movie is sometime's the best bet, since it can get very crowded and loud. If you do eat at Woodstock's, afterwards, be sure to walk around downtown.

The perfect place to hang out to share a pie and a pitcher of beer with 10 of your favorite friends..
The Scene
Ravenous college kids donning baseball caps and mini-skirts, mixed in with families and a diverse crowd of pizza lovers.
The Food
Pizza (duh) and salads. Wanna-build-my-own types can create a ''masterpizza'' with a slew of toppings; carnivores will feel orgasmic over the All Meat Orgy; and Woodstock's offers up your garden-variety pizzas for herbivores.
What to Order
The Garlic Bird is hands down the best pizza in the West-- creamy garlic sauce covered by grilled chicken, mushrooms, red onions and fresh tomatoes. Add a side of Wilde Bread slathered in garlic and herbs and a pint (or a pitcher for you lushes) of Sudwerk beer, and you've got the perfect meal.
What to Skip
Salads consist of dried out iceberg lettuce with some pizza toppings thrown in. Stick with the pie, it can contain your daily supply of veggies if you order wisely. (7/00)

Possibly so good because only gig in tow.
Woodstock's certainly is a fun place to hang-out and is very reasonable in terms of price. There food, IMO, has gone downhill from about 6-8 years ago, but they have a great atmosphere. You simply get what you pay for. Quite honestly, they have next to no competition in Davis, which makes them *seem* better than they are, but for a real honest-to-god great pizza, try ***The Symposium's*** pizza near the corner of E 8th and Pole Line. NOW THAT IS A GREAT TASTING PIZZA!!!!

Little Place, Big Taste.
Woodstock's has become a Davis landmark for great pizza at a great price. The sauce is flavorful, but not heartburn producing (always a plus for those hitting the middle-age mark). A friendly atmosphere to hangout with friends and enjoy a pitcher or two of basic beer. No pretension here, just good food, good value, and nice people.
