I've had many massages, but usually by female therapists so when I walked into this spa and was told that the therapist that was going to do my massage was sick but that Jeff, a male massage therapist was available, I was just a little nervous. Not necessary, I later found out. He was very professional, kind and knew how to make me feel very comfortable. To top it all off, it was the best massage I've ever received. I had a pain in my shoulder from traveling and he worked it completely out. I decided to have my hair cut and highlighted, Melanie had just had a cancellation so she fit me right in after my massage. I loved, loved, loved my hair and have had daily compliments on it. I'd like to add that the spa was very high end yet comfortable. They have this long cool couch in the waiting area, it's next to the fireplace.... it was raining outside .. very cozy. A pretty awesome experience.
Pros: very clean, beautiful surroundings, soothing atmosphere, helpful staff

I'm from out of the area and asked around for a good spa as I feel that word of mouth is the best advice you can get. I kept hearing Smooth As Silk. The receptionist was adorable and squeezed me right in. It smelled SO wonderful when I walked in, was very beautiful and and it had this great aura. I recommend the hot stone massage, Katie was great, very sweet and nurturing. I liked that fact that "perfect" seems to have an entirely different meaning to them. There all women working there from all across the board, all different cultures, body sizes, etc, I found that inviting and progressive. I entered feeling tired and low and left feeling happy, relaxed and beautiful.
Pros: very clean, moderately priced, beautiful surrounding
Cons: the parking, my facialist
