Best Sushi in Citrus Heights. I just moved here & Mikuni's is the best Sushi I can find in Sac.

The Scott roll is the best (just my opinion).

The younger seaters/hostesses need to work on there customer service but everyone else is great!

Eh.. Mikuni is okay. It's definitely not my favorite. The rolls are slightly better than average and it's super expensive and it's like wal-mart for sushi, so I can't stand by that. I boycott it... unless someone else is buying!

Best sushi I've ever had.... Definitely try the Marilyn Monroll and Trainwreck... simply delicious! The staff is very nice. Music is wonderful (for an 80's music fan), it took me back in time. The bar has a wonderful assortment of wines. Hands down, a great place with great sushi!

I'm hopelessly addicted!. The food here is just so tasty! I always order a pepperfin (fresh raw albacore tuna with a light brown sauce) and a Sa salad.They have specials from the sushi bar that I cant seem to find anywhere else, like a black and white (I wont even share this with my husband!)The servers are always nice and even though they appear to be almost over-whelmed with the amount of customers,we can see they are really doing their best for every table.I can happily tell you this is my favorite japanese restaurant.

Awsome Sushi. Mikuni's has the best sushi in Sac period! Hubby and I have ventured to different places trying to find a place less expensive and busy, but we are always disapointed with the food. We always end up back at Mikuni's! It may cost a little more, and you may have to wait longer for your seat, but belive me it is well worth it! The service has always been great and they are always willing to give recomendations. The one time that we didn't enjoy something our waitress recommended she took it off the bill! We never even complained about it! I have to eat there at least once a week or I go through withdrawl! The funny thing is I was never a sushi junkie before Mikuni.

User review by mandyterry. I have eaten MANY times at Mikuni's and each time has been very pleasing. I have eaten at several sushi restaurants across the country and out of them all Mikuni's is the best!

The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the service is top notch and the food will blow you away. Everything is masterfully prepared from the sashimi and sushi to the udon noodles.

As far as value goes when it comes to sushi like most things in life you pay for what you get. Good sushi is somewhat expensive but well worth it. For the most part I find the prices at Mikuni's to be very reasonable.

There is nothing below average about the sushi and sashimi at Mikuni's. Give Mikuni's a try. You won't regret it.

This is for the Roseville restaurant. What is the problem with getting a table for xx amount of peolple but not having all of them there. They are on the way. We were the first to arrive and tried to get a table for four and were told that unless the whole party was there they would not seat us. I thought that this was a family oriented place that catered to the customers. Apparently they are only ionterested in making money.

Mikuni?. Make it simple, "Fair" is the only word I could use to describe them, probably I was from San Francisco, there are a lot more japanese restarant way better than 'em. But on the other hand, great atmosphere...

Mr.. The best quality sushi I have ever had in the US. Quality, selection (100 rolls) to go along with the cooked traditional options.

Definitely ordinary. I've had the cheapest sushi ($1 for two pieces) to the most expensive ($90 for two pieces), and I can say with conviction that Mikuni's sushi is ordinary. It takes at least 10 years of training under master sushi shokunin (literally translated, "sushi craftsman") to become a decent sushi shokunin. From the flavor of the shari (vinegared rice), choice of neta (fish), and construction of nigiri, it's obvious that the guys behind the counter at Mikuni's have had little or no professional training. To top it all off, no Japanese restaurant with any pride would serve frozen croquette as Mikuni does. The dead giveway is its perfectly oval shape.
