If you need any type of hair care you MUST VISIT – Whilst on vacation from Florida , my wife was giving me a hard time about my hair , " you look like a redneck "
We visited Fairoaks and stumbled across Regent Street Salon .
As the salon was busy , I walked in thinking they would not be able to help me , but not so .
After a short wait Trish , the salons owner did my hair , and I must say it was as best haircut I have ever had , exactly what I asked for at a very reasonable price .
Whilst speaking to Trish I found out she started this place from nothing and it has been in the same place for almost 30 years .
Here is to 30 years more !!!!!
Regarding Regent Street Salon – I have known Trish for a number of years, and her hallmarks are creativity, professionalism and perfection. Good traits in any artist.
Gee...what a coincidence that she gets two trashy reviews in two days from the same quarter...
Looks like somebody lined someone's pockets for a little demolition work.
Don't believe it folks!
Great Service for Many Years – I have been going to Regent Street Salon for many years, and have always received excellent service. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. How many other businesses do you know that have been around for nearly 30 years? Other retailers in Fair Oaks Village have come and go, but Trish and her salon have been a presence there for nearly three decades. This is because they offer good customer serivce, value for money, professionalism, and always the personal touch; such as running to get you coffee while you sit under the dryer, or fitting you in for an appointment early in the morning.
I will continue to be a customer of Regent Street, and hope that other loyal customers can see beyond the false, negative reviews posted here.
By the way, the correct address for Regent Street is 7986 California Avenue, Fair Oaks.
Trish is absolutly great – I have been going to Trish since she first opened her own salon, previously I went to her at Macys , and followed her when she opened Regent Street.
She is so generous & kind , I can not understand the way some people think, and this cyber space bashing is terrible.
As far as I know she is one of the best people around & she cares for all her customers like family. So Please leave her alone and get on with your own lives. The best of luck to Warren & Sally on there new ventures.but
Please Please let Trish get on with her life to.
Long time customer – Having gone to Trish for many years and very happy with her service I am disappointed to say that I dont appreciate being asked to write false reviews for her. I will continue to go to you trish because I like the work that you do but I refuse to participate in your personal vendetta's against former stylists. If you would like to know the truth it is very simply that you should refer the clients to their appropriate stylist and allow everyone to move on. I understand you are bitter, but, he was a good stylist and you told me on other occasions that you felt so. Now that he has moved on and everyone has been allowed to speak their peace let it be the end of it. I dont think any of the negative postings I have read would have been written had the clients been referred as they should have been. Anger and jelousy can be our own worst enemies. It would be better the next time I am in Trish for you to focus on the task at hand that I am paying you for which is my hair, instead of arm twisting me and everyone else in the room to write reviews for you.
Best beauty salon around – I have been going to Regent Street Salon for over 2 decades and I have to let you know, its the best hair salon around they offer a professional service, competitive prices and a relaxing and comfortable salon. All the stylists are up to date with the latest trends and the owner Trish has built a business she can be proud of, being available to work any hours, she did my wedding party at 6.00am Sunday morning and provided coffee she is great and i can recommend Regent street Salon to everyone !!!
Best wishes for the New Year
beautiful shop for beautiful hair – I don't usually write reviews but on this occassion I feel that someone has to counter the absolutely awful reviews that have been falsley put on this website by what appear to be two ex-employees.
I have had my hair done by Trish and any number of her great people who work there for over twenty years. Trish has always been welcoming and so amazingly kind and thoughtful. Trish has been at her store at 6am in the morning to do my hair, and has always done a fabulous job. She has even gone next door to the gorgeous little restaurant to order me some lunch when I have been too rushed to grab a bite before my appointment. My kids have had their hair done by her since nursery and still go to her now in their twenties. We love her.
There are always going to be those people who have the time on their hands to try and hurt someone. Unfortunately cyber bullying is too easy in our techno times. To anyone reading this please believe me when I say that the persons who are attempting to defame the owner of this long established lovely salon, will eventually stop (I sincerely hope) when they have established a new client base for themselves and no longer have to resort to this hurtful practice. For this I wish them both all the best in their future business as long as they leave dear Trish in peace.God bless her.
Don't be mislead by "Review Slamming"! - Trish is Great!!! – Both my wife and I have been going to Regent Street Salon for years and we both consider Trish as a personal friend. We both have been very pleased with the service at Regent Street, including special attention that the staff provided to my mother in her 90s.
The recent negative reviews are a form of business bashing by a disgruntled stylist who previously rented a station at Regent Street andnow has stated his own salon.
These inappropriate business practices are an unfortuneate sign of our times and indicative of people that cannot compete without trying to drag down their competition.
Dont get ripped off by Regent Street – I also had a similar experience from this salon as one of the previous posters. I had been going to Warren along with my sister and when I called to book an appointment they refused to tell me where he had moved shops to and said they did'nt have his number. I let the english lady who owns the shop do my hair and she ruined it! Thanks to another poster I now have his number and I know where the guy is! He is helping me fix the job Trish did and i will eventually have my hair back to normal. The new shop is way nicer and much more intimate of an environment anyhow. Thanks for the heads up Carissa, I would never have found him without you!
The guy here was amazing – So this is going to be a long review so bare with me. I went to this salon about two months ago. He did an awesome job buut, while i was with him the owner of the salon came up to him while we were talking and she called him a queer because she thought he was talking about her i guess, but he was'nt he was talking to me! First of all I dont like having my private conversations listened in on while im talking with my hairdresser. Second of all I hate biggots even more than being listened in on. But, Warren did an awesome job on my hair and I have never looked better, so I decided to go back. But, when I called the salon the girl who answered said that Warren did'nt work there anymore. "wow big surprise" I asked her where he went to and if I could have his number and she said she did'nt know but that she could refer me to the owner of the salon....I was like are you kidding! But, instead I just politely said no thank you. I called a few salons in the area and and asked if they knew where he went and started to get a story about Regent street that I feel compelled to share here. First of all, The most incredible part of this story is that Warren was going to open a new salon in Fair oaks with a business partner a girl he had worked with at Regent street and then at the last minute he found out she was unlicensed to do hair. I guess her name is Sally Dilorenzo and she has worked for Regent street for 30 years. A nice lady at skin deep another salon was able to tell me the whole story about these crazy women at regent street. And she finally was able to find his number for me. He has moved locations and he is just as awesome as the last time less the distraction of the owner at Regent street. I feel sorry for the other people who work at regent street and I dont know what they are like but I find it concerning that they would choose to work for a company that allows unlicensed people to practice hair along side them. I just dont feel comfortable going to a place where the people are biggoted and unethical. If you made it to the end of this long post just know that you can get ahold of Warren at 916-838-4393. He is awesome and you wont be sorry. And if you need a facial go to skin deep in the villages.
