Cliff House.
It would be fantastic to see the Cliff House remodeled to include a larger out door dinning area with fireplace, longer business hours on Friday/Saturday evenings with larger dance floor.
The interior design is also in need of a new interior decor change and update. The views of the water are fantastic and more windows and seating with views would be fantastic include booths. This is important as Folsom needs ambiance and larger restaurants that are open late that have class and live music.. country club casual style

Over rated. Cliff house is over rated and over priced. Food is good, but it should be better for what they charge. I have definetlyhad better for less!

Stunning cliffside views, steaks and a bounty of seafood entrance diners at this romantic restaurant..
The Scene
What appears ordinary from the front of the building becomes enchanting once inside. Sweeping views of the American River and Rainbow Bridge take your breath away. A crackling fire and exposed wood beams add to the ambience. For a truly romantic setting, arrive before nightfall to make the most of the outdoor patio. It's the perfect place to linger as the sun dips below the horizon.
The Food
Ensure a good start with creamy, clam-loaded chowder and the golden baked Brie encased in phyllo dough. A sweet raspberry syrup crisscrosses the salmon while a pineapple salsa zips up the mild mahi mahi. The slow-roasted prime rib is deliciously tender, though the filet mignon is almost as good. For the best of both worlds order the lobster tail and filet mignon combo.

yuck. The food there sucks, but on Fri and Sat they have live Music....and it is worth the trip just to hear the bands...

Amazing. We are blessed to live in Folsom and have all the fine dining available. The Cliff House is the perfect place to go on a summer evening and enjoy the sites of the river and Old Folsom

Most romantic view. For a romantic rendezvous, I suggest a table away from the bar area... where you can gaze into each other's eyes between glances at quaint Folsom reflecting in the quiet river. Relax and take your time... and enjoy!

Love the Calamari!. My boyfriend and I frequent this restaurant...it over looks the river and is most enjoyable, the service is great too, their brunches are to die for...lots of variety and the prices are reasonable for what you get....our fav is...belvedere martini's really really cold and the calamari appetizer!! Love it!!

Consistantly Good. Great summertime dining on the deck with views of the river below...always a great time. Great service, even late nights; the staff is always gracious...food and wine list always delivers.

Romantic and beautiful views of the American river. I love this place! Lots of great food for your money. Dancing & live music with nice people, wonderful environment!! A+++
