We love our Folsom's Funky 'Cheers' Bar. The Hotel!. We have been to the Hotel many times. The bartenders are fun and so good looking. I'm married, but good looks and brains never hurt! We know so many people when we get there that we feel like it is Folsom's funky 'Cheers' bar. My wife and I sometimes go in separately and we always comment on how pleasant the staff was to us or about someone new that we have met. The building is old but that adds to the ambiance that Folsom is known for... at least Sutter St.. We just hope they won't modernize the Street too much and take away from all that makes the Hotel so great and Sutter St. so unique. Oh, our kids go in there as well and they love it too.

older crowd ( 30 - 55), great live two person group. The music is fun and gets the crowd involved, a place to have afun time dancing to more sedate , music of the 60's to 90's. A change from the Powerhouse, you can actually talk, sevice is good at the bar. Antoher good place to meet some one or come to dance on a less crowed floor
