Buzzing in summer, beautiful all year, this must-see oasis is a recreation destination.. Overview
Countless alcoves along the lake give up the treasures of this 18,000-acre, man-made lake. Granite ledges and sandy beaches studded with fool's gold are beautiful. Sunset brings stunning pinks, gorgeous purples and spectacular golds. Activities abound, including scuba diving, rafting and skiing (rentals available). Find a perch to watch fishermen catching trout and sturgeon or ski boats at Beal's Point jockeying for ramps.
