Disappointed - High Price - Low Quality. I know good chile verde when I taste it and I didn't find it here! The location is adjacent to shopping in the nearby Roseville Square. I think there may be a Taco Bell or Del Taco there and the food is probably better.

The prices for the various dishes are at least $3.00 more than most Mexican restaurants charge, With these prices you would expect excellent food. When I looked at the menu, I commented to my wife that the food better be great at these prices. I ordered the Chile Verde Platter. The pork appeared to be of average quality, but it was served with very little chile verde sauce. The pork was extremely dry, stringy and difficult to chew. The pork must have been cooked separately, because it did not appear to have been marinated or simmered in the chile verde sauce. The chile verde sauce was bland and salty. It had none of the flavor and spiciness of good chile verde. The rice was average, nothing to write home about. The beans were excellent. They were partially mashed with whole beans remaining. My wife had chicken enchIladas. I asked he how they were and she said they were OK. Chicken enciladas are her favorite mexican food.

The chips and salsa are good, but there were only 15 or so chips provided. Most mexican restaurants provide lots of chips and always offer more. We had to ask for more. The service was excellent although there appeared to be only one waitress in the restaurant. She was attentive and checked back to see if we needed anything. At my request she brought me a small bowl of chile verde sauce. I used this to attempt to improve the edibility of the pork. Needless to say, it didn't work. I don't know if any of the other dishes are any better, but I will not return to find out.

Best Mexican Food in Northern CA.. Best Mexican Food in Northern CA. Glad I found this place. Huge portions, Great flavor, Great prices! The atmosphere is very cool. Friendly service. They don't hold back on the fixin's for their Fajitas, and The Burrito Grande' is every bit of Grande'. The Chicken Chicana is absolutely amazing. You must try this place. A Mom and Pop shop, kinda out of the way, But well worth it!!!

Tasty!. My favorite part of Lorenzo's is their salsa. You simply cannot beat it. Fresh, spicy but not overpowering, and excellent with hot tortilla chips. The fact that I can walk into the restaurant at any time and buy the salsa to go is the best part.

Plus their food is just all around fantastic. I have had few other Mexican restaurant experiences that compared.
