Lamb-alicious. By far the best rack of lamb you will find anywhere. To get things started try the fire-roasted artichoke while sipping on an ice cold Newcastle. I have never had a bad meal at the "Buckhorn."

The Buck Stops There!. Hey, if you haven't been there, it's a must place to go! Get there early as well, or you will wait a little. We drive from San Jose just to go and have a filet - Yummy!!!!

the beef is so fresh you can hear it moo. I love this place. I lived in Winters for a while some 20 years back and its always been my favorite. We go there for all our special occasions. Try to go on a friday when they serve clam chowder. The best clam chowder in the world.

mmmmmmmm. This is my first choice when I think of a great steakhouse. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun.

Homesick for Northern California. This was our favorite restaurant when we lived in Northern California. It was located in an historic town in an old saloon. Fun! It has great food and a wonderful wine list. Great bar, too!

Fabulous!!!. We found Buckhorn Steak & Roadhouse on citysearch this summer. It it had not be for a previous review we would not have found Buckhorn in Roeville.

It is a ways from our place but well worth the trip. I would suggest making reservations but if you go on the spur of the moment, the wait is usually not very long.

Great food, great drinks, great service. We will continue to enjoy Buckhorn Steak & Roadhouse for years to come.
