Very pleased with the repairs done on my lawn mower they were done in a timely manner and the owner kept me posted on the progress i highly recommend this shop
Terrible customer service and attitudes. Use the other mower shop in Folsom. My husband took our mower in for replacement of a cable and for a tune up. About a week later he was told the cable was backorder. My husband asked how long it would be. The answer was: "could be a week, could be a month". My husband set out to order the cable from another supplier and found it with no problem, 2 to 5 business days delivery. So, he went back and talked to Gary suggesting they might want to change their supplier. The owner just shrugged. He asked my husband what he wanted to do. Given their attitude, he told them he wanted to pick up our mower since they had not started any work on it. As my husband loaded it in the car, Gary said "and don't come back to my store again".
Beware of everything about this shop. It is a shame that they are the only warranty shop nearby for troy built. Absolute worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Brought my mower in to ask for an estimate on repairs. Two weeks pass and no call back. I called and asked if the estimate was ready and they acted like I was stupid to be calling so soon. Another week goes by and no call back. I call again and they tell me the repairs are 1/2 way done and the total I owe is X (before calling and telling me what repairs are needed and actually getting my go ahead to do the repairs). Then tell me a part needed to finish the repair is on back order. They again acted as if my call for a status was a huge burden. No eta on the parts. Call again in another week and no part in. Call again in another week and they say, Oh, yeah, that's been done for a while now. Thanks for the heads up! I don't understand how such a poorly run business can keep its doors open.
Baffled by the nasty, negative reviews. Maybe there's a new owner? Maybe they were written by shills for another small engine service? I dunno -- what I DO know is I took my Yardman weedeater there a couple of weeks ago, on a Tuesday. It was done on Friday (new fuel lines, carb clean), VERY reasonable, no hassles. Granted it seemed weird to have a 11-year old as "counterman," but he did his job - and was the only person I dealt with. Totally pleased, WILL go back, Larry in SackaMenna
Great Service & Everything Works.
Gary's is very busy especially during spring, however they were able to diagnose the problem with my lawn mower and fixed it right away, the young man there was very sweet and attentive, they have my bussiness in the future.
I would recommend them to all my friends.
Upper crust of the bottom of the barrel.
If you're looking for the absolute worst customer service and a rude condescending attitude toward customers, you've come to right place. Shop is a disorganized mess but your can't complain about the service...there is none.
Buyer beware, this guy is a jerk.
garys mowershop. I do lawn service and the work has been great they do repairs that no one else does and dont mind working on old equip! They have found hard to get parts for me on my equip. Its hard to understand how other shops stay in bussiness when they wont work on riding mowers and basic yard equip. (I was sent to garys mower from a shop in citrus heights) GREAT WORK GUYS!!
poor customer service. After having mower in shop for 6 months we got it back and then belt was broke we returned it to get that fixed and then waited another 2 months.I call to see when it would be ready and they say tomorrow and i call tomorrow and once again tomorrow , so now i am getting run around. so now i call and tell him i will take my business elsewhere and he calls me and says not to threaten his employees or i can take my sh** elsewhere and he will delivery mower in 20min. un finished.all and all he is fixing it after my girlfriend talk to him...
