Fantastic Job!.
Comments: Thank you for the fantastic job your company did building our pool. Brian Porter made an awesome design for us. He was with us every step of the way. Without his guidance we would not have the beautiful pool that we now enjoy. He is a great designer.During the process someone was always there to answer any questions we might have.Julie would call to keep us informed on each step of building the pool. Julie made it very plesent to work with your company. Nina is another person we were in contact with. She was always there to answer any questions we might have.
When you have a pool built there are many different crews you deal with. Each crew that came to the house made us feel very comfortable with the building of our pool. After the pool was finished we had pool school with Mark Farrington who took his time to explain everything to us. All of the questions we asked he took time to answer completely and asked if he needed to explain it again.Brian recommended Dave Summers of Earthscapes Custom Concrete for the decking. They did a fantastic job.We are so pleased. The pool was finished in a timely manner and the yard was left clean.
My wife and I want you to know what great people you have working for your company
Thank you for the beautiful pool we now have in our yard

"Premier" Perfect Pool.
At the beginning of interviewing Pool Companies, I quickly learned how bad the economy really was and going with the strongest of the pack gave me great piece of mine. It also gave me the best deal but more importantly the quality and service that went along with the GREAT DEAL was soooo worth it.
Swimming Pools are not cheap and a big investment financially and emotionally. The risk of working with an unknown pool company or smaller competitor elevated my risk immensely in so many ways and that was one of the biggest reasons why I went with Premier Pools. The piece of mind that I got knowing that the best craftsmen in the business were the ones working on my pool and the fact that Premier has their own electricians, plumbers and all their own heavy equipment of which to complete a pool eliminated the risk of seeing my hard earned savings disappear or be used to finance someone else’s pool project.
The care that went into each process by the incredible staff left me enthusiastic to refer as many friends and family as possible to Premier Pools. The footprint all the workers and machinery left in my yard was so minimal, the daily clean up was extremely considerate; everyone I met was kind and polite and did exactly what they said they were going to do. A very special thanks for caring about the safety and well being of my 15 year old dog that I adore so much by staying within a certain work area. I loved getting calls the night before which informed me on what to expect the following day, it really helped me with my work schedule as you know I’m self employed. Even the pool school guy was amazing, gentle and thorough and my equipment is not only top of the line but doesn’t intimidate me.
After looking into different types of financing I’m even happy with the unique and perfect suggestion that you helped provide to me as an additional option to the shopping I did, I ended up using that and again it worked out “Premier” perfect.
Should you ever need me to brag to one of your clients in person, it would be my pleasure. The kind of service and quality that I received from Premier Pools was exactly what my clients have come to enjoy and expect at my Printing Company.
It felt good to be spoiled back for a change.
First Class Pool Renovation.
Having worked in the construction business before, my expectations were “reasonable” to start with because it is all about the challenge between expectations and reality. The more detail, diagrams and visualization you can provide the more accurate the final product. Premiere built EXACTLY what I asked for.
The Sales Rep was very responsive to my calls. He provided great ideas and suggestions. Easy to work with. Kept me out of trouble (with some of my unusual ideas).
Clay Fitzpatrick “rocks!” Great renovation construction advice. I appreciate Clay’s willingness and effort to accommodate several of the changes we made along the way. He set reasonable expectations, all of which were met. He was candid with his thoughts and turned to his crews for suggestions when necessary. He injected some great building ideas, most of which were incorporated. I appreciate the flexibility and called Clay at least 10 times during the process. He answered every call on the second ring.
Crew Summary:
Demo Crew- Great job. I expected the yard to be “wiped out” by the end of the demo and it was not. Fast, efficient and clean.
Plumbing- Great job, but a “tad” too rough, initially, at the equipment pad. As a perfectionist Jeff Van Stone made some great suggestions and Clay re-worked the plumbing so all “above ground equipment” would line up on the pad. After a few adjustments, it came out perfect.
Rock Work- Awesome! Clay and I were “on the same page” per our conversations and he delivered what we discussed. Initally it was too much rock for this size of the yard. But Clay made immediate adjustments and the changes were implamented to meet my expectations. The use of pictures and drawings provided the reality check that delivered what was in my “minds eye.”
Gunite- Great job and professional crew. In and out in a day.
Cement Decking by Earthscapes- Great job- first class work. Work fully explained before it begin. A bit more expensive than alternatives, but WELL worth it!!
Pebble Tech- Another great job.
SUMMARY: When I look at the backyard (which is every day), Premiere Pools delivered exactly what I had in “my mind’s eye.” I will highly recommend you and would do it all over again.
Simply One Word AWSOME!!!. Having Premier build this pool was a GREAT experience for me and my family. From the sales team, customer service, and all the way up to the owners it was very professional. I told them what I wanted and it came out 100% to scale. My children enjoy swimming in the summer and my wife enjoys the "HOT" tub in the winter. The price was very reasonable from start to finish and I am amazed at the quality. Good service comes from GOOD BUILDERS. I highly recommend them. You'll find no other pool building company like Premier Pools and Spas. JPM
Simply The Best Pool Builder!. We are the very proud owners of a spectacular pool and spa designed and built by Premier Pools & Spas. The entire process was professional and of the highest quality. The construction staff was well trained and courteous throughout the process. The finished product is the envy of all our friends and neighbors. The service from Premier during the purchase was so good that we selected them as to provide our weekly pool service as well. You will not find a better company to build your pool or to take care of your pool after it's built. Thanks Premier!
Amazed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of work that Premier displayed. I got a few estimates and Premier was not the highest nor the lowest. They wowed me with their presentation and the fact that they were able to capture my dream for our family playground.
There were a couple hick ups along the way, but were quickly and professionally addressed. The fact that my salesperson was my one contact made things a lot easier. The office staff was great with returning calls and letting me know what was happening..
Premier exceeded every expectation I had. I went into this with nightmare stories and it turned out a dream.. Thank you the entire Premier Staff.. We love our pool!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I could go on and on about the poor job that was done on my Pebble Tec. They were so rude and disrepectful about my complaints!!! I tell everyone to find a different pool company!!!!
Nightmare experience-do NOT use this builder!.
I wish I had seen these reviews before we hired Premier to remodel our pool. Unfortunately, we only check the State Licensing Board to make sure there were no complaints against them legally. I have dealt with many contractors for several projects around our house, and I have NEVER had the problems like I did with Premier.
The only bright spot was Tony, our salesperson, who was great about staying in touch with me and following up on problems. But everyone and everything else was just a disaster. The workmen who showed up to do the actual labor were sloppy, disrespectful, and lazy. Their tile work was very poor. One worker WALKED INTO MY HOUSE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE to plug an extension cord. I came downstairs to find my back door left wide open--and my 2 indoor cats and my dog had escaped. When asked why he had entered my house and used an inside plug instead of the outlet on the patio, he claimed the outdoor one didn't work. However, my husband tested it later and the outdoor plug worked just fine. When I complained about him entering my house without my permission, I was NOT given an apology but instead told that I irresponsible for not keeping my doors locked!!!
The workers also left their lunch garbage all over my yard. One worker also littered the grass with his cigarette butts. My dog got out and ate a few of the cigarette butts before I could stop her. When I complained to our foreman about this, he laughed and said that he could get my dog a nicotine patch!!!!!!
But the worst part of the whole experience was that Premier breached their contract with us by demanding that we pay upfront before the work was completed. Our contract clearly stated that the project would be paid for in 3 intsallment payments, each due UPON completion of each phase of the job. The first payment was fine-- they came and ripped out our old concrete and plaster and then I paid them the first part. HOWEVER, when they called to schedule the next part of the job, I was told that I needed to give them the second installment BEFORE they would start working that morning. When I told them I wasn't going to pay them before they'd done the work, I was then told that if they workmen showed up and I didn't pay them, they would call off the job for that day and then I would be charged an additional $500 for having to call off the workers!!!!!! The same thing happened with the third installment. I was threatened with an additional $500 charge if I did not pay before the work was done. I wish I had had the presence of mind to get this in writing or call a lawyer at that point....but I was stuck with an unfinished pool and panicked at the thought that they might walk away and we'd have to find someone else to finish the job. I attempted to file a complaint with the CSLB but-- while they were sympathetic and said that Premier's business practices were definitely against code-- they could do nothing since I didn't have any proof in writing. So, my only recourse is to spread the word and hope that people read it and don't get stuck like we did.
In the end, they did complete the job and it is passable. But it is not nearly good enough to justify having to put up with the rudeness of the customer service person or the substandard level of work. This is a company with no pride in workmanship or a sense of ethics. Please do not use them! Give your business to an ethical company who cares about their service, work quality, and customers!
Save yourself from the worst possible experience..
These people came across as the "premier" builder of pools. Nothing could be further from the truth. to start I was very specific about the positioning of the pool, that it was to be parallel to my house. I was there as they staked the ground. After that I had to trust they were following the markers since there were piles of dirt everywhere. But low and behold, after the pool gunite was done, I discover the pool was 18" further out on one end than the other.
But this is was not the only problem. I have had a long list of issues, that start with very poor tile work, problems with the electrical wiring, and the worst being that my pool is discoloring from iron in the water even though we paid extra for the best filtration system, and they did not bother testing the water after filling the pool. Now I'm told there is no way to remove the discoloration.
Oh, and getting someone to return a phone call, forget it. These people are the ultimate speed builders with NO attention to detail.
Stay away from this builder!.
Workmanship way below any standards, few examples: 1) Piping and equipment on the concrete pad installed in all directions, nothing straight or aligned.
2) Sand filter installed reverse inspite of huge words on the filter in spanish and english: INLET, OUTLET.
3) Deck color around swimming pool different from what I asked for.
4) Several nozzles missing in the swimming pool.
5) Other missing hardware here and there e.g, missing washer on chlorine generation, had to install one myself to stop leak.
6) Oh.. and you have to install drainage for overflow yourself (you will hear that later in the process).
Note:They took care of some of the above items but not all of them..
Customer service is non-existent. 3 (three) months ago I reported chlorine generator issue (service codes), broken waterfall switch and vacuum which broke 5-th time in the last year. Called them several times and nothing done so far.
