poor customer service dont get ripped off
This place is excellent!! i normally install my own systems, but due to my disabilities, i can no longer perform these types of tasks anymore. i had my system installed by a shop off Fulton Ave plead the 5th) and the totally botched the installation!! who in their right mind trims down a 8 guage power amp input cable to adapt to a 16 gauge spade lug and run your rca outputs with the power cable's figure. i went to Sundance and met up with Claude, the owner, his knowledge regarding the field of audio systems is outstanding. he's very professional and a good guy to do business with. i explained that i was on a budget and he totally set me up!!! he gave me a quote and stuck to it, even though he upgraded my sub. i decided to keep my infinity amp to power my front speakers and buy a separate amp for the sub. Eddie,(the installation manager), contacted Claude and hooked me up with a soundstream picasso amp(for the sub) at an outstanding price. Eddie and Jairo,(the installation technician) relocated my original amp and wired new rca's the proper way(away from the power cable). installed and wired up my new amp, sub and enclosure (i have a '96 silverado ext.cab), the enclosure was perfect!! i've been a tech for 35 yrs., so attention to detail is is my norm. Jairo performed a very professional job wiring, (and rewiring the botched job) of my system, his attention to detail is really great!! once everything was in place, Eddie tweaked all the pass levels and modes for BOTH amps. talk about great customer service, they even gave me lunch!!! i had issues with MY in-dash in regards to scrolling thru functions to adjust my sub, so i went back yesterday and Claude hooked me up with a dash mount sub controller and Jairo installed it exactly where i wanted it, again, great work! i could go on, but i guess you all get the idea. All these guys are great, professional and quality oriented. you wont find a better audio place around here. THIS is the only place that will ever touch my truck. i'll be upgrading my system in the near future and my truck will be right here...THANKS GUYS, my system sounds great now!

The owner has no sense of customer service, it's a shame.
He picks fights with customers, has been in physical altercations with customers, and even spit on customers.
As an owner of a company, he should know better then to stoop that low.
It's too bad that you HAVE to at least pick 1 star cause I would rather leave none.
If you wanna be swindled, then go right ahead. If you want good customer service, then you would most likely go to sundance. BUT! If you wanted to be completely swindled of your money, then you should REALLY go there. I was completely new to installing car audio so I was trusting them to do a very good job and take care of me. It was the exact opposite. These guys took complete advantage of me. The first subwoofer they installed, didn't give me any kind of advice or anything on overplaying it or anything. It shortly blows out, so I go to them to replace it with another one. This new one they say "oh, make sure you break it in this time". That would have been nice to know last time!!! Oh and for this new one they said no matter what kind of abuse I gave it it wouldn't blow out. So I take their word for it. This one blows out too. I take it back and just decide to get two subwoofers put in so it will handle the abuse. So he gives me a set price of 245 and I go to the bank to grab my money. When i get back he says "hey we decided we're gonna put these two other ones in that are gonna sound good. So what was the price I gave you again?" I tell him 245. I pay and sign my signature and as they are installing I realized "hmm I wonder what the price difference is for these new ones they are putting in". The price difference was 100 dollars cheaper for each subwoofer!!!! But I had already signed and completely agreed to everything. Now after a couple days these subwoofers have blown out. The original one subwoofer I had was a kenwood which they charged me 220 for. You can get a set of 2 brand new on amazon for 100 dollars shipped. I am never going back to these guys ever again. THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETE SWINDLERS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, ONLY ABOUT FILLING THEIR OWN POCKETS! DO NOT GO TO THEM! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Most Excellent Window Tinting.
I tried to tint my wife's Saturn SC2 soon after we bought it in February 2011, and I did a horrible job. I took it to a guy named Claude who was just starting up this business (Sundance) and he did a fabulous job on all three windows.
When the car was in a crash that shattered the rear window years later, after the car was repaired, I took it back to Claude to tint the rear glass again. His business had expanded and moved to Olson Drive by then. Once again, he did a fantastic job.
I returned with my new Mazda RX-8 in 2005. This one was trickier because the glass was curvier and I gave him a challenging logo to embed under the grey tint with silver tint. He hand-cut the logo and the result was one-of-a-kind show quality.
I sold that car and bought a 2006 Cadillac CTS earlier this year. Again, I came to him the day after I bought the car to get the rear windows tinted, and again, the quality is superb.
Don't tell him I said this, but I would be willing to pay double the price he charges for window tinting. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else.
The place is quite popular and they do get busy there, so you may need to be somewhat patient as he and his staff juggle customers' needs.
The owner is a Douchebag!!! DO NOT GO HERE!. This place is a joke. I brought my car in to get a stereo installed and it was the biggest mistake. For starters... Bad service and the owner is a complete docuhebag. Guy swears he's Pauly D from Jersey Shore.. I warn any and all do not go to this place. They cut corners, they are way over priced and their is work garbage. I could have done a better job installing my stereo myself...

I brought my car here after trying to install my new alarm system. I was having major electrical problems since I decided to install on my own, I wasnt even able to pass smog.
After they took a look at it, they said my alarm was damaged (my fault) but they did reconnect all exising wires and took out my alarm for me.
My car passed smog after they worked on it!!
Even though they worked on my car for an hour or so, they didn't charge me and they gave me some great tips and advise for car alarm systems.
I highly recommend this place!
Arrogant - Poor Customer Service. Find a professional! Had issues with poor workmanship on an alarm installation that were never resolved. Ordered and paid for replacement parts that after 8 weeks never arrived (come to find out claude the owner never ordered parts and lied to me week after week.) When I asked for a refund he called me a peon and said he didn?t need peon business. I ordered the same parts online received them in 4 days at half the price.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE-- RUDE!!!!!!. Save yourself the headache. Had issue regarding VERY poor workmanship., it could have been fixed- instead, I was treated as though Claude was doing ME a favor after he did very poor work. Eventually he threatened me and told me to NEVER come back. I dont understand how he's still in business. A friend of mine went there earlier and was treated rudely as well. AVOID Claude AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Poor workmanship and plan on lies as to when your car will be ready!!!! He has violent tendancies!!!
great service. i bought a stereo from sundance almost two years ago and it had gone bad. claude told me that it was out of warranty and said he will do what he could to help me. he got me an extended warranty for free and was able to get me a new stereo free of charge. im on a tight budget and its nice to know that there are people out there that care about other and have great customer service!
