HORRIBLE!

I took my laptop to them last Thursday and told them I needed a new keyboard installed. I told them that in one week (the next Friday) I was heading on vacation and wanted to take my laptop with me. The tech assured me it would only take 2-3 days to get the keyboard and i should get it back by next Wednesday. The price was reasonable so I left my laptop there. Big mistake!

So here it is Tuesday 5 days later and I get a phone call with a quote that it'll be $60 and they needed approval to order the part. What? You haven't even ordered it yet? I approved that Thursday when I took it in!!! She still thinks they can get it in and repaired by Friday though. So 5 minutes later another tech calls me back to apologize for the miscommunication and the "back log" and then says that there's no way to get a keyboard in before I leave on vacation. He hopes I'll come back after my vacation. YEAH RIGHT!

I don't appreciate being lied to. A technician shouldn't make assurances they can't keep. And parts should be ordered the day the equipment comes in! I didn't need a diagnosis.. i needed a keyboard!

So I go to pick up my laptop an hour later and they don't even have it put back together. Why they even had it apart without having the part in stock seemed strange to me. Whatever... I waited around while they allegedly put it back together. I get it home, and plug it in, and guess what? When I took it in, I had one broken off key, Now I have 2 missing keys! Oh and the kicker - Now it won't even turn on. I"m not sure what they did to it... maybe they put it back together too fast or maybe they broke it on purpose. I'll never know since I won't EVER let them touch any of my computers again!

Best Laptop Repair Company PERIOD

Glad I found these guys! The ONLY laptop only repair facility in the entire Sacramento region. In fact as I was checking my system in there was a technician who was checking in three of his customers systems. Price was way better than what I was quoted from one of those big comapnies as well as the mfg. Highly recommend you use The Laptop Connection. Why take it somewhere else (they may end up taking it to the Laptop Connection anyway!)
