Wouldn'g Go Anywhere Else. I've bee a Mane Attraction client for years. I've had to change at times because once I get a good stylist, he or she will move or change careers. I take advice of others and try other stylists..always end up back at MA. I have been with Allie (Allison) for over a year. She always listens and will suggest but never push. I LOVE that she is not over-talkative (which some seem to like..don't get it) as I am not a talker either. But the conversations are always pleasant, revalent and Allie is a true sweetie. I brought in a pic last time and she did it perfectly ...let just say the style didnt' last long because once I got home, my husband "ruined" it if you catch my drift. I have also had massages and mani's..excellent. I do wish they would return to an old practice of years ago (we are talking 15-20 years ago) of playing soothing soft jazz or nature sound type music like you get wih the massages. The satelitte stuff can be a bit much. A small complaint but one that, if fixed, would enhance the experience. Keep up the good work Allie and don't you dare move!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I recieved a gift card to the salon and spa, I was highly impressed,Beautiful Setting, Friendly Staff, I received a massage, OMG!!! most do this treatment it is a 5 star massage. I also had my hair done,They really took the time to get to know me,as a result my hair is perfect, I have had so many compliments no wonder they are #1 in Sacramento KCRA A-List 2 years running

best color salon best people. I just moved to the city and was really nervous about finding a new hair salon, but after some quick research decided to give the Mane Attractiont Salon a try for my usual cut and highlights.I ended up with Alie, who was much more reasonably priced--under $200 for the whole thing, which is a great deal in my book--and did a wonderful job.

The salon itself is tiny and was packed on the Friday morning of my appointment. I'm not sure if it was due to the noise or what, but Alie wasn't much of a talker; she got right down to work, but the results speak for themselves. It's definitely the best cut and color I've had in years! She listened carefully to everything I said and executed it perfectly. She even gave me the long side-swept bangs that I've been trying to get for a year, but haven't been able to find a stylist that got what I was looking for. I'll definitely be going back!

i also signed up for this ulimited membership for on $99 a month unlimited hair wow!!!!

good for my pocket book i gt my hair done once a month now i cn get what ever i won't .....i must say i look great andmy hair feels yummy

Best color salon and it is an eco - friendly salon. I have to say the best thing i have ever done for my beauty budget was to sign up for there unlimited hair membership(it was only $99 a month) I went to my friends wedding and everyone loved my hair, i said thanks go to Mane Attraction SalonSpa Gold River! They use 98 % natuarl hair color, my hair feels amazing.

You must check it out!. I have been Marilyn's client for close to 20-years and I would follow her anywhere. To find her in an Aveda salon is an awesome. She has style, attention to detail, knowledge of the products combined with her mastery of hairstyling makes this salon a unforgettable experience.

Worst haircut ever! NEW CLIENTS AVOID-DO NOT GO HERE!. I told the stylist I wanted side bangs, just the same as I already had just trimmed up a bit. She butchered my hair kept cutting and re-cutting until my bangs were less then an inch. They were not only less than an inch but they were all jagged. When I put my glasses on to see my cut I was shocked at what she had done. Why would an Avida salon employee who did not know how to cut hair! I left crying and upset. Now one month later it still look terrible. I called the salon and told them how upset I was an they said there was nothing they could do because they are so short all I could do was wait for them to grow out. I love Aveda salons but I absolutely hate paying $45 for a hair cut I could give myself wearing a blindfold.

If you are a new client DO NOT GO HERE!
