Meh... so so. My wife and I went there hoping to find a great place close to home and we were not wowed. It wasn't terrible food, but we both agreed we've had better. The salsa was good and the prices were reasonable, but my wife had a bad stomach ache once we got home. We'll explore other places before we go back there. Powerful Margaritas!. If you have a margarita while you're waiting for your food to arrive, let me tell ya, by the time your food arrives you'll be pretty far gone! A great place to go, relax, and have a great time with friends! The food is good, but I've never actually been 100% sober while eating it! Have fun!

THE BEST. I am from mexico and this is the only food in SAC that even comes close.... forget the rest and visit Carmelita's! the drinks r awesome by the way..there are two visit the new one on Fair Oaks and Sunrise

Best Ever. My parents started taking my brother and I to Carmelita's in the 60's and it was then and remains still, the best Mexican food any where.

Fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever tired. The enciladas are the best ever!
