Editorial Review for Discovery Museum Science and Space Center – by Peter Melton

Overview
This little-known science museum features animal exhibits and a planetarium. Rotating exhibits explore subjects like the human brain, dinsosaurs and space toys. The best part? They're all hands-on.

The Experience
The Nature Room is a wonderful place for inquisitive minds and hands. Three of the four walls are animal and insect enclosures featuring a porcupine, a raccoon, a rabbit, tortoises, a huge iguana, snakes and different varieties of skin-crawlingly enormous cockroaches. The room is equipped with big cozy throw pillows, baskets of animal books and stuffed animals. Horns, shells, coral and even a dog's skeleton are available for hands-on examination.
