Best local hauler I know.. As owner of a local boat repair facility "Delta Breeze Marine" I have called on the services of John Derrick many times and have referred him to a number of my current customers. I have no question as to his abilities nor have I ever been concerned with his attention to safety when it comes to haul outs or deliveries.

Any job can have its set backs,scheduling can be one of them. Not unlike a visit to the doctors office sometimes the appointment ahead of you can run longer then time alloted. Then there's the local traffic need I say more.

Best Marine Service in CA. Roger and I were referred to John and he took excellent care in getting our boat out of the water to get serviced. He was able to arrange the work needed and when all was done in a short time he got us back in the water so we could enjoy our boat. John's customer service is great!

Great service for boat hauling. I'm an owner of a SEARAY 390 here in Sacramento for over 12 years and have used John at Derrick Marine for the past 3 years. My experience has been nothing short of perfect. He arrived on time with every haul-out with zero damage. I know John is the owner and driver so he can't always answer the phone while loading another boat, but I get his full attention when he calls back, normally the same day.

John also owns a boat yard in West Sacramento that I've used on two occasions without worry about the safety and security of my property.

No one I've used in the past will give you the same service as John, thats why I gave him 5 Stars.

Avoid this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This guy came highly recomended , but I do not agree. Actually I wish I would have read some reviews or asked others from the Sacramento yacht club first. I had to make multiple calls just to get a return call to get some info then eventually my boat scheduled for a tow out. Not only was he inconsiderate at not returning my calls, he was then over an hour late!

The only recomendation I have is to tell you to go somewhere else. My boat ended up scratched and a cleat broke off. There was no damage before it was taken out and now there is. Don't make the same mistake I did. Us boatowners need to stick together and keep our stuff nice. Don't use Derrick Marine, overpriced and unprofessional.

Top notch nothing!. This was by far the worst service I have ever received. Hard to find someone to move my boat, picked this one due to location and city search results, will look elsewhere next time!
