American Hair Lines Sucks!. Owned by the Pollock Pines Camino Chamber of Commerce President, Dan Beebe, this place sucks...be sure not to say anything in that shop that you don't want broadcast all around town. Seems like he has a different staff of people from month to month...gossip does that you know!

With that kind of ownership in play, probably want to steer clear of his shop and the Chamber!

Horrible Experience. I went to American Hairlines last year as a walk in. I wanted a simple trim and ended up getting colored to. When I left I had a HUGE brown spot in my hair from the coloring that was done. I had a previous engagement that evening so I tossed it in a bun and went back to have it fixed the next day. Several month down the line I went back for another trim and decided I wanted to have my hair lightened to blonde. After several sessions ranging nearly $500.00 over a few months of treatments we got to the bleaching portion of the treatments. My hair was bleached 3 times in less than 2 hours. It was soooo fried. My bangs were melted together and I had to have them cut off. Not to mention it was bright bright bright yellow!!! I was so embaressed to even go out in public. Even my family picked on my crazy hair..

My hair is still unable to hold any color it is so dry and damaged. This was nearly 6 months ago.

I have since begun conditioning treatments at Shear Excellence w/ Lynda and she treats my hair once a week. Spending nearly and hour washing, deep conditioning, blow drying and styling for $5! My hair is well on it's way to recovery but I will NOT ever be returning to American Hair Lines. I can't believe they charged me for that massacure!

I like Alecia... color, cut, perm, guys and girls! Bay-area type service at local prices!. This salon is great! I'm a client of Alecia, and I have to say: she is super nice, very quick, and really knows what she's doing. Just bring her a picture, and if you have the right hair, done! The salon has the program where they take YOUR picture, and show you how a different color or style will look... VERY COOL!
