The Scene
Voted best gym in the nation in 2000 by Outside magazine, Granite Arch boasts 22,500 square feet of hand-sculpted climbing walls, 36 feet high. All first-timers at Granite Arch must take a basic belaying course; more experinced climbers can take a belaying test, held every two hours, to be sorted into the proper skill level categories.
