Next to the historic governor's mansion and only a few blocks from the convention center, this location is extremely convenient for business and government travelers alike. Convention-goers will also appreciate the hotel's 24-hour business center.

The Details
Renovated in late 2002, rooms remain typical in layout but are substantially newer and more stylish than most local budget hotels. Decor is pleasant with new furniture and drapes and an attractive mix of plaid and floral fabrics. Unlike the guestrooms, the lobby is drab with a beige-on-beige decor. But while the sunroom also houses unremarkable bulk-purchase furniture, this enormous glass-enclosed room is the perfect place to relax before heading to the outdoor pool.
