I'll never shop here again. I was a regular customer at this hardware store for years. But today when I tried to exchange (not even return) a defective item, the manager refused because I did not have the receipt and became rude.

"That's not how I run my business," he said.

I wish I'd read the other reviews. I hope others read them and this one.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hardware store. Usually the stores like this one have excellent service. I was at Home Depot the other night and I had a fantastic experience. I can not get into detail about what happened due to need for obscurity around the topic, but the owners, whom were both terribly rude because I questioned one of their business practices, would not even give out their names (I didn't ask for last, they were not trying to protect any privacy) for me to make sure they were the highest authority. I will never return and I will tell all of my Midtown friends and family the same!

Best Hardware store in midtown.... Good customer service before purchase, but extremely poor followup, return policy, etc... Use only if you can't get to a real hardware store, East Sacramento Hardware, New Home Building Supply, Hollywood Hardware, etc...
