Delta King Pilothouse Rstrnt

Murder Mystery food in NOT Delta King at all! beware. We regularly dine at the Delta King restaurant and have great food and experiences, but on our last visit we were so disturbed by the food that we thought a clarification needed to be made between the Delta King's Pilothouse restaurant and the Murder Mystery Theater boxed food. The Pilothouse restaurant is wonderful, never had a bad meal there at all, but the Delta King promotes and has a Murder Mystery dinner on-board and it is billed as such with great Delta King food. Save your money now! Not one person at our tables of 20 could finish their meal, and I could only take 2 bites. I watched people at the table behind us send their food back it was so bad. This was absolutely NOT Delta King food, but had to be Stouffer's and heated in a microwave. Management actually had the gall to say that they have never received a complaint, I'll encourage you to dine in your own restaurant, Pilothouse, and then walk downstairs into the kitchen for the theater and sample a plate. You will be awfully surprised and what you experience. It is clear that the majority of the money is going to the actors of the theater and the crumbs are being spent on the food. You would be wise to NOT bill this event as providing Delta King quality food in the future.…

Never Again. I often come to Sacramento with my wife, and we decided this time to stay at the Delta King. We have been here before for dinner, and back then it was nice. The staff was horrible, and treated us like we werent paying customers. We asked for a room on the water side, and when we got there they gave us a room on the other side. They refused to change our room. Also, we decided to dine in the Pilothouse, and I can tell they have changed management once again. The gentlemen who was there before was a very nice French man, we were told that he is no longer there, and it shows. We have decided to take our stay and our dining experience else where next time we come to Sacramento.…

Beautiful restaurant with lots of great menu choices and excellend service. So much fun!. My husband and I have been to the Pilothouse Restaurant on board the Delta King 6 or 7 times in the past 10 months. We like it more every time we go. This weekend we got a larger group together to go there for a holiday dinner. Everyone raved about it and couldn't believe they'd been missing it all this time. Our waiter, Michael, was knowledgeable, friendly, and always there when we wanted him. We all loved our dinner and the grand old Delta King was beautiful. This is really a good spot and worth going to Old Sacramento for!…
