My boyfriend and I were so excited when we found out that F&G was building an outside patio. We love our 2 dogs and look for places to go that allow us to sit outside and enjoy the day with them. F&G being one place that we never get to go to because every other business on R street has outside seating w/ dogs. FINALLY we can do this there...NOPE! after drinks are ordered and 2 whole minutes have passed we are told we cannot have the dogs outside because of health code. Unless the servers are not washing their hands (which would be disgusting if they were not) then there is nothing in the health code that would not allow dogs in their outside seating area (CA health code section 114259.5.) if they as a business don't want dogs they need to say it. post a sign. they managed to get signs for each table that say no smoking. one sign for the whole outside patio saying no dogs wouldn't put them out. Their attitude about the whole situation was the worst about it though. They lost a customer tonight.

Fox and Goose ROCKS!!!!!. My husband and I love Fox and Goose. We always come on some weekend for Breakfast/Brunch.

Food is always excellent and the service is excellent as well.

Even if when you go there and there's along line, the wait is never as long as it seems, the wait goes by fairly fast.

Love love love this place :)

The Best Breakfast in Sacramento!. You know when you try something different and you get disappointed? You will never be when you pop in here for a great meal. Your only excuse will have to be 'I was born without a tongue'. The Fox and Goose has raided my wallet for cash going on 20 years. Having ate everything off the menu, Not at once, it makes for a hard decision what to get. Omelets, eggs benedict and crumpets to die for. Or commit murder for! However you view it. Anyways trust me. The wait is long on weekends so be strong. Parking can be a olympic sport for SUV owners. But when you sit down for that first cup of coffee the effort is worth it.

Hot spot.. I can't get enough of the fabulously decorated interior of Fox and Goose. Always something fun and unique to look at, and also great conversation pieces. The food is good, but not so much in the way of non-meat eaters. I have tried the Vegetarian omelet and the granola. Both were delcious.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not come to this place on the weekends if you are already staving. The wait is incredibly long, but worth it. While you're waiting, I suggest going for a stroll over to the art gallary next door. Also, this is a great place to go with a group of people.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Sacramento.. come early to avoid wait. There's nothing like stout and eggs in the morning. The coffee's great too if you're not ready to start your morning off with a beer. The bangers are great (try with mustard.. ooh so good), and I love the crumpets!! Just be sure to arrive early, as you may be waiting quite a while if you don't.

I've had many a breakfast in Sacramento, and this is by far the best.

Good beer selection, good hangout spot, great breakfast. The Fox and the Goose is one of my favorite places in Sacramento because of their fantastic breakfasts and their good beer selection. The bar doesn't get horribly busy at night, therefore it is an awesome hangout spot where people can relax with beer and a couple of friends. It is a great place to talk and they have fun music nights that end up being very communal and intimate. For breakfast, everything is great just make sure it comes with a scone because they are not to be missed.

An Angel would visit. This is a must see musical experience after dark.

The Fox and Goose Pub draws many artists and

the original music creates an atmosphere of

creativity. A mystical thing it is to visit in the fall

with a light rain. It is like stepping in to something not

ordinary. An angel would visit, especially on a Monday

to witness the open Mic talent. It is heavenly.

Crumpets Reign Supreme!. We love the Fox and Goose. I've only been there for brunch - but we go a few times per month. The atmosphere is fun - it's a converted factory/warehouse - so you get all that great quirkiness to the space.

Here's a tip: GET THERE BEFORE 10am! The place fills up FAST on weekends, and the lines are long.

The service is slow - but friendly. But hey - you're in one of the few non-chain restaurants in the city, people. Calm down. Relax. You want fast - go to McDonalds.

GREAT Brit cuisine. Their crumpetsw/Devonshire cream are fabulous.

RiverLunchBreak. Ordered the Grilled Portabello Mushroom Sandwich $6.95 It came with mixed greens and a very small portion of dressing. The sandwich was tasty. Service was prompt and courteous. They serve breakfast through lunch - so next time, that is what I will order.

Omelets fit for a king, majestic scones and proper English tea make this British pub a breakfast destination.. The Scene
Live music, European ale, friendly dart games and whopping breakfasts draw crowds to this English memorabilia-loaded warehouse. Half of Sacramento shows up on Saturday morning and the other half on Sunday. Prepare to wait 30 minutes for brunch.

The Food
The extra-cheesy eggs Benedict and sweet raisin and cinnamon French toast are worth a taste, but omelets reign supreme. The British omelet boasts hearty bangers (that's English sausage for you Yanks), onions and melted cheddar. Another favorite is the Welsh rarebit omelet stuffed with tomatoes, onions, and a decadent cheddar and beer sauce. The BBC omelet with black bean chili and gobs of sour cream is perfect for the ugly American. All of these eggy delights come with a ton of cubed fried potatoes capable of washing away any hangover.
