Interesting experience. Well my husband and I wanted to go to a bar to have some drinks and stumbled upon "The Depot." We walked in and right away I noticed there were all guys and I was the only lady. We didn't want to walk back out so we stayed and had a few drinks. The bartender was soo nice to me probably because I was the only woman there. I had to go to the restroom and while walking there I had some rude looks from guys but it didn't bother me. We realized it was a male gay bar but we still had a good time and I thought it was cute how the men were looking at my husband. I would def go again because the drinks were good and good prices!

Fun Staff. The staff for the most part are super friendly and the drinks are just right! I like the different nights they have there especially the singles night on Tuesday...way fun! Sunday afternoons are fun too. It's the place to begin and end your night without a doubt. But if you want just gay people then stay here. Need to work on the videos so they are more hi tech and top 40. I can only handle so much 80's and bad hip hop, and it doesn't really seem to fit their bar.

Great Bar. The bar is small but tastefully designed. There are two bars one in the front and one in the back where people smoke. The back bar is closed off but some smoke does come through the door if you stand right next to them. There is a great local crew of people that are very friendly. The bartenders are hot and drinks are strong. Cool place to visit to hang out and meet people. There is no dance floor but the music is good. The have many tvs to veiw the music videos and they play short snips of shows like QAF or Family guy in between the music. Looks a lot like Midnight Sun in San Francisco but the people here actually have a pulse. :) Good place to come to when you go to Sac-town.

A gay and lesbian hot spot where dozens of music video screens flash patrons waiting for their next pickup.. The Scene
Select a video to play on the video screens; the books kept behind the bars list hundreds and it costs just $1. The high ceilings and low lighting slick up this establishment. Pool tables sit in a room between the main bar and a small back porch where smoking is allowed. Clips from "MadTV," "South Park" and other comedy shows and films run between music videos.

The Draw
The clientele are mostly men in their 30s and 40s, but the female bartenders draw in the women, too. Whatever your orientation, the Depot's party atmosphere ensures a good time for those waiting for their train to come in.
