Great food and bartenders. The rennovations made The Zebra Club lighter but thankfully the food and bartenders are the same. The cook is the best in the area. One of my favorite bartenders is daytime Johnney Hamm. He always has a joke, a smile, a great drink. He remembers the regulars and is very huggable.

Once you eat there you will go back again and again. Once you get to know Johnney, you won't want to leave.

Best Dive Bar in Town. This is not a bar for those looking to impress or be be impressed, it's a dive for the local yocals during the week with a bit of craziness thrown in on the weekends. Drinks are cheap and the service is, albeit a bit slow, decent, for packed as this place can get on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. It's an "anything goes" sort of place, and if you don't mind a frat boy on your left a biker on your right you've come to the perfect place.

Rowdy, crowded and loud, you'll have fun at this frat-boy dive if it kills you.. The Scene
Choose from one of the 18 beers on tap or sample the pear cider. A hot dog cart parks right by the club's front door on weekends. Stumble back the next morning and order a yummy omelet to go with your Bloody Mary. Five nights a week the best entertainment at the Zebra is Dave the bartender, who trades acerbic and often raunchy barbs with his regulars. If it's your birthday, let Dave drag you behind the bar and pour the alcohol of your choice straight down your throat till you gag, while the other customers cheer and clap. A couple of pinball games occupy a corner, but the main reason to come to the Zebra is to drink and make crude passes at coeds.

The Crowd
On weekdays you'll find downtown regulars, while weekends get pretty rowdy. Frat boys dominate, packing the joint until there's hardly room to move.

A decent place to start the night.. This place is small and can get very crowded around midnight, the crowd is college boys 'n girls with a few local cats mixed in. The best reason to go is the dolar drafts (even though it's weak beer). The tenders are friendly and hardworking but it still takes some time to get a drink. If your hoping to bump into someone, start a comversation, hopefuly make plans to meet somewhere else, this is your bar. The Jukebox plays top-forty and pop clasics and sports are usually playing on the T.V's. It's casual and so are the boys and girls.

This is a "hip" bar?. 6 of my girlfriends and myself went on a "slow" night (a Saturday at 11:00 p.m.) apparently. All we saw that was "interesting" was that the fabric on the walls (all of the walls including the bathroom) and the interesting seating arrangements we of the same plush velvet zebra print. There were 4 guys and a very old couple working the dance floor to Samba. Can we say boring!
