The Scene – True beauty appeals to all the senses: This is the ambiance inside this innovative combination of art gallery and flower shop. Listen to classical music as you smell a fragrant tuberose. Finger an unusually lovely wire sculpture. Admire framed prints created by select local artists. Become inspired to start a collection of hand-blown glass ornaments. You'll appreciate the Oriental hand bags, carved wooden mirrors and porcelain animal figurines. Their clever ceramic soapdishes and candlesticks are definite conversation pieces. Surround yourself with objects of beauty and…

Artfully Arranged Flowers

by xcs13x at Citysearch

Exquisite! Beautiful! Stunning use of colors and flowers! I have ordered many arrangements from Blooming Art and have always been pleased with them. Recently I ordered an arrangement for a relative who is particularly difficult to please and she loved them. Well done Blooming Art. I have found the owner and her staff to be helpful, informative, and easy to work with. Even when I don't really know what I want they are patient and work with me to come up with the perfect flower choice. The design magic I leave to them as (and I repeat) I have always been pleased with the results. Without hesitation I would recommend Blooming Art.

Terrible Customer Service

by carlaclifford at Citysearch

I wanted to post this as a response to the customer service review above. To make it easy, I'll just include the letter I wrote to BloomingArt.

"It's not often I feel compelled to write into a company regarding customer service. In fact, I have never found myself writing one of these letters. Sadly, my phone call regarding my order today was so incredibly ill-handled, that I wanted to express my concern regarding the incredible lack of customer service of your staff.I walk by your shop when I am in Sacramento and LOVE what I see. Personally, I feel your contemporary arrangements rival the best available in NYC. I always make a mental note to myself wanting to order one of your great designs for my loved ones in Sacramento. This time around, I made sure to mark my calendar and actually do so, way in advance, for Valentine's Day. I realize that it is Valentine's Day, and it's one of the busiest days of the year for you, but I wanted to confirm (I had my order confirmation in front of me) that my order was received and all was well. I phoned the number your website and was actually scolded by the person who answered. She, and I quote, had a line of people in front of her and it would be RUDE to answer my question (which was simple, to the point, and very justified) or look up order numbers to ensure that I got what I had ordered. Since "it would be rude" to other customers to answer my (a customer) question on whether or not my order was received and on track, she definitely couldn't cancel my order - which is what I would very much like to do at this point. I'm assuming its too late - I was clearly unable to verify. It concerns me that I am obliged to pay you for the worst customer service I have received to date, but since I am unable to cancel the order (I'd hate to think of the treatment your customers receive when canceling an order) I guess I have to. I'll make sure not to make the mistake of ordering from you again."

Best florist in Sacramento without a doubt!

by dj53 at Citysearch

I normally do not post reviews but felt that I had to after reading the previous review. I have been a customer of Blooming Art, both through my company and personally, almost from the day they opened and they are fabulous. Let's face it, any florist can do an adequate bouquet or arrangement so to me it really comes down to the people. The staff at Blooming Art are not only helpful and pleasant, they know the flower business and their products are top quality. I have to believe that the previous reviewer posted their comments without calling Blooming Art for some sort of resolution to their problem as, based on my experience, the issue would have been handled immediately. My company has 900 plus employees and a large number of those employees use Blooming Art based on my recommendation and I have never heard a single complaint, only praise. Also, not to be too picky or flowery about the previous review but there is no such word as "leafs." Perhaps she has a website where I can write a grammar review? In any event I could not disagree more with her review.

droopy flowers, yellow leafs

by sylviag at Citysearch

My daughter sent me flowers with balloons on Saturday at about 3:25pm, from Blooming Art in Sacramento. The flower arrangement consists of 6 colored daisy like flowers, 5 small sunflowers, some with floppy stems, 4 small purple flowers, the flower heads facing the table, stems floppy, three twigs and some rubber tree leaves, and some other greenery and 4 tall small size green flowers. She spent $150 for this. She could have bought 3 bouquets at the grocery store, cut three twigs and stuck them in the $2 vase and spent less than $20 for the whole thing. I have no idea what balloons cost, but doubt that it would have made the $20 bouquet I recieved to equal $150. She sends me flowers often. This is not the worst I have recieved, but run a close second. I sent her a picture from my cell phone, she stated she had expected something a little more extraordinary. I will, at a later date, suggest another florist. I am happy she thinks of me, and knows I love flowers, I am sad that she spent so much on so little. Today,Sunday, the leafs to some of the sunflowers are yellow, some of the petals on the daisy like flowers are turning brown, of the balloons, the 8 little one are laying on the floor as the helium is gone, 2 of those are fist size. We will be ordering flowers for my mother's funeral on Friday from someone else.
