My husband and I were married at the Sterling Hotel in February and also stayed in the Huntington Suite that night. I cannot express how wonderful the ENTIRE staff was to us! From the wedding coordinators to the front desk to the waitstaff--everything was like a dream come true. The morning of my wedding, waitstaff ordered champagne up to my room and that night, we forgot to pack toothpaste and the front desk went to fetch some and bring it to us!!! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. If you are thinking of having your wedding here or even just staying for a night or two, we highly recommend The Sterling.

We were looking for a reception area for our wedding a few years ago. The outside looks lovely and the inside beautiful! If I remember it right, you have to use their own caterers so I do not know how the food is. If we had a bigger wedding, this would be one of my top choices. PROS: Beautiful Victorian house, lovely ballroom, in midtown sacramento CONS: A bit expensive

This hotel is really nice. It is a little pricey, but the hotel is worth the price. I love that is Victorian, and doesn't actually look like a hotel, so it made me feel at home. The staff here were incredible. The location of this hotel can't be beat, it is close to the State Capitol. I like that the Internet here was free.
