Rockin Abs!. I stumbled upon this find with a local school auction win; I had always wanted to try Pilates. In a short series of classes, I felt a noticeable change! With a few more classes, I felt sleeker in my over-40 body! I was amazed at how much fun I was having too! Trisha and Jesse worked me hard while making me smile and laugh as the hour passed. I find myself missing the camaraderie almost as much as the expert instruction. Pilates takes mental energy and the descriptive approaches given and encouragement along the way are best in class! Thank you to Cassidy and her tremendous staff! TRY THEM OUT!

The Best of Sacramento Workout Clubs. I joined the CAC shortly after it opened about 20 years ago and have always found it to be a well maintained facility with an extraordinarily helpful and friendly staff.

The equipment is virtually always in top notch condition and is replaced when it's time for an upgrade or a better model is available.

The massage staff, personal trainers, maintenance staff, and all of the administrators are not just politely friedly but they make extra efforts to see that your questions and needs are addressed, promptly.

A suggestion box is used for those patrons who may not have time to see a staff person immediately.

Great equipment, great classes such as yoga and dancing, regular excursions such as costal hikes and Sierra snow shoeing are another hard to replicate feature of the Club.

It's everything that a person could ask for in a top-notch workout club.

Without a question: Five Star.

Best Place to workout in Sacramento!. Reading over the reviews....I think that guy must be crazy! I've been a member for 15 years and know Greg very well. He is the nicest guy you would ever meet. He meets and greets members and will remember you from the moment he meets you! He is a great example of what CAC is all about! It's not just a place to workout, it's an extension of family and every member knows it!

That guy probably got kicked out of the place because of his own behavior issues. That's another great thing about this place....They don't accept innapropriate behavior in the club and won't tolerate it......no matter who you are or how long you've been a member.

Soo.....keep up the great work CAC! You can't make everyone happy!

Be Verbally Abused and Physically Threatened by Greg Herring the Janitor. I am a 61yr old and have been a member of the CAC since 1992, The club itself is a smart establishment. In the last two years one the janitors Greg Herring, has been verbally abusive on numerous occasions by calling me a C*nt, cursing and swearing and threatening to me in the shower area. This has NOT ONLY happened to me but to other members, and become very close to a fist fight. These matters have been reported to Rick Leonard the general manager. Rick Leonard chose to do nothing about the animalistic behaviours of his janitor Greg Herring. Refusing to give me an apology, I took the matter to the owner of the club, "Ken Hoffman" of Hoffman Construction in Concord, Ca. within 24 hours of the complaint hitting Ken Hoffman's desk, again requesting an apology, my membership was revoked by Rick Leonard. If you want to work out in safety, The weights, weigh the same, the water is just as wet at any other club in town, you do not need to pay $2500 a year for a family membership to be verbally abused, threatened and cursed at by a janitor. If you thought you might get an apology, FORGET IT. Won't Happen.
