Overview
Part of Six Flags Theme Parks, this family destination claims to be the largest water park in Northern California. Waterworld is a big attraction for Sacramento's kids and teens. As for your food options, expect the usual amusement park fare: corn dogs, dippin' dots, sandwiches, pizza, etc.
The Experience
The Shark Attack water slide and Great White--a death-defying three-person water luge--are popular attractions. For some swashbuckling fun, head over to Hook's Lagoon and battle it out with your buddies inside an interactive pirate ship. For a more mellow ride, float to Breaker Beach, where body surfing and tubing the three-foot waves provide reprieve from the scorching heat. Once you've cooled down, try a game of volleyball.
