USED to be fun. on weekdays, usuaully a group of twinks hovering around alkie owner, mooching free rounds of drinks. Other than that, expect rude, slow service

Very Tired. This is no longer a bear/biker/cowboy bar. The new owner is trying for Face's North. It is full of giggling twinks with their female friends. The bartenders are rude and lazy. If you're not in their clique; forget service. The silver-haired gentleman who's name starts with a J should've been fired years ago. The loud-ass one with the fake-color red beard (A) will stand outside til the cows come home suckng his cigarettes until one of HIS preferred customers comes to the bar; otherwise wait until he's damn well ready. Then there's Big L: forget it if you look over 18. This place is a joke. But we have no other place in Sacramento to go outside of Midtown. Please, somebody open a new club and let this one die

Weeknights are fun!. Really like the fun bitchy staff and the drinks are strong. But most of all the laid back everyone is welcome atmosphere is refreshing. Don't come in thinking you are gonna pose and be a princess, it just doesn't work there. I always have a good time here except for Sundays. He has no personality and is always rude, so we don't come in on that night anymore. Nice seeing them do something with the outside now.

Sacramento's only men's Levi's and leather bar, featuring a sex shop, special events and old-school color-coded handkerchiefs.. The Scene
Be warned: You will find men wearing leather chaps--and nothing underneath. It's also dark. Very dark. Attend special events like slave auctions, Cheeks & Chaps contests and Flashlight Parties. A firepit warms smokers in the winter.

Who's There
Touted as a men's bar, women can occasionally be found shooting pool or scanning the sex toys for sale in the little shop inside the bar. This is definitely a scene bar, and you should know the score before you come out to play.

When to Go
Although there's something to do every night of the week, weekends really rock at the Bolt. Thursday is Movie Night. On Friday and Saturday wear leather, enjoy happy hour prices all night and dance to a live DJ until 3am.
