Bare-bones budget motel.. The Scene
At one of the cheapest motels in Sacramento, you'll only get about as much as you pay for. This is niche property - it's an excellent choice for those on a strict budget that need to bring their pets, as even dogs are allowed with a $5 surcharge. Meeting space is available but the decor is laughably outdated with worn earth-tone furniture and cheap 1970s prints. Also in desperate need of renovation is the onsite bar with dark wood paneling and rickety steel barstools.

The Details
The 150 guestrooms are bare with a few faded prints and queen-sized beds. Despite the shockingly neglected decor, amenities are above average. There is an outdoor pool, guest laundry services, and surprisingly, each room has a microwave and refrigerator. If you're looking for luxury, run. But if you want a basic place to stay for very little money, this is the spot.
