MIXED BAG IS THE MOST AWESOMEST STORE EVER!!!! There is no other store like it in and around Sacramento. It's absolutely amazing. I make it a point to stop there and get something whenever I'm in the area. WHOEVER you need a gift for, even yourself, this is THE PLACE!!

Bad Experience!. The owner of this store is extremely rude, and has no concept of customer service. I arrived 10 minutes before opening on Christmas eve 2011 to buy several kaleidoscopes for some children in SriLanka who have no toys. I was trying to get them to a friend who was flying to SriLanka in the next hour. The door to the store was open, and when I entered the owner was beyond rude. I tried to explain my situation and she immediately cut me off.

I do understand that the store was not open, but why the need to be impolite and discourteous to potential customers? I waited the 10 minutes and then reentered the store to buy the toys (only because there was no time to go elsewhere). Needless to say, I will not return. It is amazing this owner stays in business with her obvious lack of goodwill and customer service. Shame on you!! ; -(

LOVE MIXED Bag. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store carries a wide variety of items and consequently some things are priced as low as .50 cents. The flag selection, cards and house wares are unique and beautiful. You can find a gift for anyone. I haven't been to a mall for a gift in YEARS!

In A Jam? Get to Mixed Bag. I adore this store. Over the years, they have bailed me out with the perfect last-minute gift. The staff is

so friendly and helpful and they will guide you to the perfect gift with a minimal amount of information.

I am the envy of family, friends, associates and clients for always having the perfect gift! They even put it

in one of their fabulous bags, with some snazzy tissue and ribbon and you are good to go. Not to mention

the best selection of cards and candy and the best and best-priced coffee anywhere in town! Fifty cents a

cup! Next time you are in a bind, head to 24th and K in midtown.
