Adventurous diners looking for something different from the same-old, same-old Asian cuisine will relish this fun and delicious food.. The Scene
Intimate and lively. Light yellow "washed" walls give the room a warm feel, and gently smoldering incense sticks complete the picture. Diners can choose to sit on the uber-hip patio, inside under rotating paddle fans or, if dining alone, at the bar.

The Food
The Asian-infused menu is large and intriguing. Adventurous types can try out dishes like the evil jungle shrimp cake and the tofu-mushroom sand pot.

What to Order
Bamboo's famous laughing buns--steamed buns folded over tender, grilled, orange-flavored beef and green onions. Bamboo's banana cream pie (it's the bomb). "Hacked" Hainese chicken.
