HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am completely disgusted with the poor customer service and unprofessionalism of this business, particularly the Owner. They have now messed up two different orders of mine. First a birthday cake where the Owner himself took the order, and never actually put the order through. After driving from Granite Bay to Sacramento to get the cake, we were told there was no cake there for us and there was nothing they could do to accommodate us. The latest was my baby shower cake which I made sure to order three months in advance. I then received a call two months before my shower to tell me was ready, additionally I was told completely incorrect prices. When I expressed my concerns to the Owner he called my order a "problem order" and told me he was going to cancel it. He then told me he didn't want any of my future business either. I never asked for anything from him; however a simple apology would have sufficed. I was completely shocked, as a business Owner of over 15 years; I would never consider treating my Clients with such utter disrespect. I will NEVER order from them again and will share my experience with everyone I know. In times when Customer Service is something to be valued, this company lacks it completely. They truly do not value their Customers or their Customer's business.

Red Velvet. I love their red velvet here! They should stay open 24/7 and i would be here everyday! Thanks Rick's dessert for having the best goodies in Sacramento!

Great Desserts. Rick's Dessert Diner is so good and so addicting. The service is great for a small shop and I like their carrot cake it is so good that I buy the whole cake and take it home. Their pastries are also very good like the peach cobler, lemon bars, or heath bars. Overall Rick's Dessert Diner is the place to come to.

great place. This place is great I come here maybe a few times a month just for their variety of goods. I like the style of there shop as well, the pictures are great the atmosphere is super fantastic but mostly I love the Peach Cobbler, Parfait, and their Cream Puffs!!

I love CHEESECAKE!!!. Love the cheesecake here! I come here with my boyfriend every weekend just so I can have some of the amazing cheesecake they have here! Highly recommend.
