The familial relationship to the popular KBar and Blue Cue is apparent in the young boisterous crowd, which floods the place at happy hour and on weekends. Cheap drinks
by leschnei
I like monkey bar because they have cheap and tasty drinks and the atmosphere is kind of funky and fun. However, it is always too crowded and noisy. It is a terrible place for groups and the parking is really limited.
- Pros: Cheap drinks
- Cons: Limited parking, crowded, noisy
See for yourself
by brolydude
This bar is overrated and disappointing. Trendy to the uneducated and desperate. If you like to mingle with a deadbeat crowd then this is place for you. The lack of room forces individuals to be herded like cattle onto a small outside patio. Access to the bathroom is very difficult. It might be great to those who have never step foot outside of Sacramento, but a huge disappointment for those who truly enjoy good, fun, entertaining bars. - Pros: Inexpensive, Booth Seating, No Cover
- Cons: No music, slow service, lack of room
No Good for Dates
by mochamix79
Not a good spot to take a date, let alone a first date. The people are too many, the noise is too much and the service is too slow. May be a good spot to hang out and meet some interesting folks, albeit trendy and overrated.
- Cons: , Crowded, Slow Service
