The Books
Find a bounty of paperbacks, hardcovers and audio books covering every subject imaginable. The aisles are compact but the shelves deliver a vacation-of-the-mind, with selections featuring pets, gardening, cooking, sports, and film and theatre. The travel section is huge, and the childrens' wall is stocked with classics, early readers, flash cards, Brain Quest teasers and Boardbook and rattle combos.

The Extras
Look for a fun line of greeting cards, hot magazines along with newspapers from the San Francisco Examiner to the Moscow News, plus laminated computer program quick-study guides for $3.95. Collectors of blank journals will be happy to find two racks full of ready-when-you-are bindings.
