The Scene – The cafe evokes the laziness of a tropical island with flourishing palms and slow-moving fans--and notoriously slow service. Inside and out, abundant greenery shelters vibrantly colored pottery and worldly artifacts from the busy street. On the patio, an animated crowd further blocks out the outside world. – – The Food – Tasty results come from a mix of traditional brunch items and world cuisine. Creamy custard-soaked French toast is legendary and sugary. Crab cake eggs Benedict puts a delicious twist on tradition, though you're better served asking for the…
Unbelievable French Toast - Can't wait to go back!

Each of our party of 6 ordered something different...I loved the soup of the day...Roasted red pepper and corn- deelicious. Next time I'll try the crab cakes with bernaise, I tasted my friend's and it was out of this world. The potatoes they serve are like nuggets of gold and are so yummy. If you like custard and French toast you will be THRILLED with your order...It's to die for and will haunt you. We ate on the delightful patio--our servers were great and the atmosphere was heaven. Go there! PS: If you want a great Bloody Mary..try theirs. PPS: Desserts? OUT OF THIS WORLD.
So Disappointed!!! :(

I hate to say that my exp. at the Tower Cafe was pretty bad. The server took to long with our drinks, I ordered a salad that took almost 45 min to get to my table. Not to mention my salad had been sitting out while every other table was served. I noticed a green plate with salad just sitting there unattended. I waited and waited till finally I was given the very same salad that had been sitting out. I brought this to their attention and I was quickly given another salad. It was served to me on warm plate!!! It looked messy unlike the other salads being served. I was so disappointed!!! Maybe I went on a bad day although they didn't look busy. I doubt I will be going back.
- Pros: None that I saw
- Cons: service, food quality, seating, prices too high, no A/C
