Sacramento's premiere music store has (almost) everything you need to be a rock star..
The Scene
Skip's packs just about anything anybody could want in its relatively small spaces. The guitar section has all the middle- and top-range acoustic and electric guitars as well as all the amps, cords, pedals and picks that you'll need to be a star (the talent is your problem, kids). We even saw a mandolin hanging on the wall. In addition to guitars, there's a good selection of keyboards, mixing boards and turntables for DJs and almost everything you'd need to start your own recording studio. Upstairs, a large selection of traditional drum kits (plus more exotic percussive goodies for world music enthusiasts) is tended to by Skip himself.
What's Unique
Skip's is the only music store in the area with a selection this huge.
Gotta Have It
A vintage Rickenbacker short-arm just like John Lennon used in the early days.
