Great Resurant to go out and eat. This is a very enjoyable place to go to. My wife and I go when we get the chance. The specials are very good and resonable priced. I have had the Steak, Salmon, Shrimp(huge) for dinner My wife always goes for the Steak or Prime Rib.The Steak sandwich is outstanding, I go for lunch, the Martini's the best.…
Best restaurant for consistently great food in Sacramento.
I started eating at the Whip in 1963, have eaten over 200 meals there and always found the food to be outstanding. This is a locally owned restaurant that was handed down from father to sons and
they have done and outstanding job of updating the food and facility. In Sacramento, you can beat it for consistently great food.

great lunch menu during the week. Qiet local bar with a friendly staff, they remember you if you there more than a couple times. Mix some good drinks at resonable prices. They are agood stop for an after dinner drink on the way home. The bar has a local feel of the old neighborhood bars, yet the dress may be suits to jeans.
